Nice, well made, works perfectly
Does what it says.. nibbles away very thin metal. Only complaint really is that they could manufacture it in such a way as to have the fence or body line up exactly where it will bite. As it stands, you will have to approximate with your eyes 'about' right here. It uses a guillotine style angled knife which is so far, easily able to munch through a small metal enclosure for a little bobby box. Keep it oiled, and work over a garbage pail/bin as it will produce a ton of debris.

Potentially Useful
Seems to be well designed and suitable for sheet metal or PCBs. I had intended it for nibbling mounting holes in a plastic case but the jaw did not open wide enough to nibble the plastic.

Hand Nibblers Great For Cutting Odd Shaped Holes In Thin Metal
I used to have a pair of hand nibblers just like these and lost them somewhere. They are great if you need to nibble or cut out a hole in thin metal to mount a switch or temperature controller. I used them recently to mount a rectangular shaped temperature controller in a small refrigerator i found and the original thermostat had gone bad in. Now it works great.

Great for lighter metal
Works very well for intended purpose, nibbling light metal. I used it to help customize the peak end of my metal roofing panels along with a small hand metal brake (bender) and this worked excellent. It nips a small square piece of metal from a flat surface so you could cut out a fairly precise quarter inch strip across a piece of light metal even turn a corner without bending the metal as hand shears sometimes do. It worked real well for me.

Great to trim the chassis of electronics
I bought this to avoid having to use a dremel to do a modification/fix for a piece of electronic hardware (needed to trim the metal body to fit the replacement part in). Love my dremel for sure, but to trim some metal this is much easier/safer to use. Honestly it seemed flimsy when I first opened the package but it's actually very well made.

Great for the price!
The handles seem rather unergonomic, but that does help the tool head get into tight spaces. I've only used it on aluminium sheet around about 1/16" at the thickest and it cuts quite well. It does get tiring to use after a while, but it's useful for small cuts in odd shapes and is much less messy than my milling machine or a piercing saw. Great for making cutouts in electronics enclosures when things are already somewhat assembled. The large chips are easy to clean up compared to a lot of fine shavings that can get into where they shouldn't be. I've been meaning to buy one of these for about ten years and glad I finally did!

Good value
I have only used this two times so far but it seems to work quite well. Hopefully it will last a long time, and when I need it next, it will be functional.
