I have the bm 8000 excelvan along with the behringer um2. I got a xlr to aux that came with the mic to plug directly into my laptop. Will this work

Should plug in just fine. But depending on your set up make sure the length is what you want. For streaming and recording gameplay or general use with discord, ts an so on its fine at 6ft legth. Just depends on your set up.

This is a standard XLR cable. It will connect your mic to your input device. The mic requires "phantom voltage" to be supplied from the input device to the mic. Most Behringer devices will provide this, but double-check to be sure. Bon chance.
