For the price, this XLR cable is hard to beat. The connectors fit securely into my microphone and audio equipment without feeling loose, and the cable itself feels well made with a durable outer jacket that should hold up over time. The sound quality has been excellent with no noticeable interference, static, or signal loss. Whether recording vocals or connecting audio equipment, it performs exactly as it should. I also appreciate how flexible the cable is, making it easy to coil up and transport without constantly fighting kinks. Amazon Basics continues to deliver dependable products, and this cable is another great example. I would definitely purchase it again if I needed additional lengths.

First of all, this XLR cable is nice, great quality, and cheap. It’s super thick, but it’s also durable. It’s a nice matte black color, but it does gloss in light. It’s easy to get it ready for transport, as it coils up easily, and even includes Velcro cable ties. The sound quality is great, I’ve never had any issues. I believe the only way to make this compatible though, is if you have some kind of mixer. It sucks, but if you have one, it’s a great addition. Overall: 9/10

No buzz or other feedback sounds. Surprisingly good quality. Use only in home recording studio.

Its an alright cable, beware of the little buzzing you may have from other things around you transmitting electromagnetic signals. Get a shielded cable if it really bothers you.

Great product great value - no brainer ! buy it !

From my previous experiences, I generally think of AmazonBasics as kind of a no-frills brand. However, when I was looking around for a shorter XLR cable (most of mine are 15 or 25 feet), I was shocked to see the AmazonBasics cable. First, I didn't think there was enough XLR cable sale volume to warrant them carrying them under their brand. Second, the product images looked pretty good. No, the cables aren't colored, but you can solve that with some tape at the ends. The cable itself is a light gauge affair, with a decent amount of insulator. It coils easily and doesn't kink, and while it's a bit less heavy duty than most XLR cables, it seems more than good enough for my needs. I would say, though, that you will want something heavier if you want to tape these directly to the stage. They are perfect for on-camera, in-rack, of, on-table applications. The thing that made me notice these cables in the product photos, and ultimately what made me buy them, was that the interconnect is encased in metal. While it's not technically necessary, I really appreciate the extra durability on the highest wear part of an item that is used all of the time. If I have a clumsy moment, I don't have to worry about having trashed the end of some of my audio rigging. That leads me to my last observation... XLR is usually used in professional setups, which favor things like locking connections. The tab on the male end of the cable worked well with EVERYTHING that I tried it with. The clip and release on the female end was less than perfect. The mating plastic (not exactly a gasket), kept a couple of my cables and devices from clipping in properly - that was 2 of 15 tried. A few of the ones that fit only clicked when a large amount of force was applied. While the lock release is textured, it's not comfortable to use if you need a lot of force to release the clip. It's not a deal breaker for me, but I thought I should mention it. If you need a good quality XLR cable with good durability, and you don't have to use it unguarded on a trafficked floor surface, this should be excellent for you. Highly recommended.

Funktioniert ohne Probleme, nicht das beste Kabel, aber Preis/Leistung ist unschlagbar. Gerade wenn man viele Kabel Braucht ist der Preis ja sehr relevant. Kann auch geöffnet werden.

I cavi sono arrivati in tempo veloce,spediti da Amazon e imballati molto bene.La qualità costruttiva è ottima,una volta collegati non hanno dato alcun tipo di problema,e danno poco rumore di fondo.Unico appunto è che ho avuto difficoltà nel collegamento dei cavi al microfono dinamico,data la dimensione del cavo,più grande di qualche millimetro.Per collegamento ai diffusori invece,non ho avuto alcun tipo di problema.Comunque consiglio l'acquisto dato il prezzo basso e la rapidità di spedizione che contraddistingue Amazon!

Unos cables de gran calidad a un precio difícil de superar. Utilizo mucho Neutrik, que se supone que son de los mejores, pero realmente no noto diferencia con estos. Estoy encantado y los recomiendo.
