The hat is a good design and brings out the nature of the mad hatter. The size card in the hat is made of cardboard, not a good choice, true to the design but not good for durability or cleaning. Instead of the cardboard card a section of white plush material with the size embroidered in it should be sewn in the proper location on the hat. If that were done you would be able to clean the hat without damaging cardboard and the cardboard wouldn't get bent or damaged in normal use of the hat.

Perfect! Worth the purchase.
The hat has some type of lining in it to help keep the shape. You have to adjust the hat a little to give it the exaggerated bigness, however, don’t let that deter you from getting this hat. This was a great deal and fun to wear.

I would give this no stars if possible. I'm not typically picky especially when trying to get low cost items but when I took the hat out of the package it had a tear in it. This wasn't done in transport because the bag it came in was fine as well as other items in the bag. Disappointing there isn't better quality control.
