Avern Turbo Lawn Seed

Absolutely amazing product, we had grass growing within five days.The lawn is looking amazing, i wasn't sure at first with it being so cheap, but using previous and different grass seeds in the past, I cannot believe how good this one is. You can see the different in colours from the lawn that was already there, which was turf.Turf was really expensive, so we decided to try these grass seeds and look at the outcome. This is the grass, a two weeks of growth.

Good amount of seed taking a while to grow not as fast as suggested. However value for money

I purchased this Avern Turbo Grass seed in April [2024] to overseed my patchy lawn; I cut the grass, scarified it and aerated it before watering it and applying the seed the next day and watered it every other day. Initially, I was disappointed because I saw no results after a few days, but after 2 weeks I saw growth and the lawn was looking better! I decided to apply more seed last week, this time I watered the ground, put the seed down [applied by hand] and then covered the seed with a light sprinkling of topsoil and watered the top soil the same evening. To my surprise, I noticed growth within 6 days! This makes me believe that your success with this product is down to application, ground conditions, and weather conditions; We've had a wet spring in the UK so maybe April was a little wet/cold for faster growth? I can honestly say that the new grass is looking a lot greener and seems nice and healthy. - If you don't have pets, I'd also recommend buying some pegs and net from Amazon (I paid £7 for some green netting and 20 green plastic ground pegs) because I found that the birds were trying to feast on the seed, which also possibly explains why the topsoil application was more successful than the first.

Average grass seed, good germination rate however poor quality grass. Poor value for money, better off spending a tad more for a better type of seed. Poor great shades of green even after feeding.

Amazingly fast growing and resilient. We have awful soil in our road and my next door neighbour has all but given up trying to get seed to take. I originally had a wild garden weeds infested with onion grass and self seeding hell. after clearing it adding lime to rid me of onion grass and reduce acidity i thougt id give seed a try before rushing to get turf. i didnt expect much as it was cheap and id never seeded a lawn before. The pictures show just 10days growth from nothing to almost a total lawn. Areas are still filling but thats my fault i rolled the soil too compact after seeding so these areas are taking longer to push through but bit by bit they are. This seed grows fast and is a lovely grass. ive also patched the established lawn and within 5 days that is almost fully patched and the new seed is far superior than what was there that im tempted to dig rest up and seed it with this. I chose it because i have a female dog and i wanted resilience and comfort as she love laying in garden and she loves it already especially as she has two big grass areas now! grows thick and strong and already holding up well with her running on it so thumbs up for performance. Cant recommend more!

Bought 3 bags. As it took well, then the weeds came out growing with the seed and everything is dead, watering a lot as one is supposed to, now I just have thatch. Dont buy
