Ensayo comparativo muy interesante
Para saber algo más de Africa. Es un ensayo denso que nos introduce al Africa precolonial. Organización política, económica y social. Es un ensayo esencial para empezar a entender el impacto del colonialismo y la realidad actual del continente.

Brilliant!
I purchased mine as a secondhand copy. I was interested in its contents rather than having a pristine one, so saved some money :-) The downside to this work of revered historian, anthropologist, physicist, and politician, known as Dr Cheikh Anta Diop , is how gripping it is, and how fast I read through this book, soon realising 20 odd pages add past on a bus trip! The book gives a rich glimpse into African social systems unknown to Westerners. Giving a richer understanding than the usually heavily biased rubbish those of us had been wrongly made to swallow in European schools. Highly recommended to all but more so for those of African descent!

Real Eye-Opener and Much Needed History of Africa’s Past
Kudos to Dr Anta Diop for such a precious and delightful history of Precolonial Africa; Dr Diop delivered a tour de force of Africa’s past. He let us know that the continent was well advanced before being colonized. He did a skillful job in showing the reader what the Africa was like before colonization: an advanced civilization, structured governments, strong trade, etc. I had a blast learning these historical gems. Once again, I applaud Dr Chekh Anta Diop for such treasure and recommend this book.
