Do these have to be cooked? I want to use on a backpacking trip and just add boiling water. I don’t want to take more gear. Will this work?

I don't tink so. After adding water to this powder, they have to be cooked, just like eggs. Never tried to just add boiling water to see what would happen. Made the way they say, by cooking just like eggs, they are really great. They cook up just like scrambled eggs. John
