Dusters Killer Ostrich Feather Dusters MB03, 28" L, Large

We purchased this duster in the past. It was time for a replacement and I didn't hesitate to get this duster again. I love the length, it makes it easy to dust our ceilings, eight foot. I can dust ceiling fans and lamps, also remove spider webs. The duster isn't heavy and easy to use. The feathers are perfect for removing dust without scratching. Great duster.

This is my favorite duster ever. I have had one other small feather duster, and it wasn't nearly such nice quality. I have also used wool dusters, swiffer dusters, dusting cloths, and a number of other kinds of dusters. This one is by far the most effective. Plus, it's pretty and fun to use. You just have to know how to dust properly. Start at the top of the room and work your way down, knocking the dust onto the floor, which you will vacuum or sweep as soon as you are done dusting. In order to dust in hard-to-reach places--nooks, carvings, between spindles, etc.--wiggle the duster gently, tickling all the surfaces. The feathers will reach in and pull out the dust. I can even use this to easily and quickly dust some of my art, sculptures, and delicate items, if I'm gentle and careful. For spiderwebs that are sticky, spin or twist the duster, and it will pull them off the wall. To clean the duster, just shake or spin, and the dust falls off onto the floor. My only wish is that this duster would come in a larger size. I need a longer handle to reach the ceiling and baseboards. If I had a duster with a longer handle, I might forego this size and go with a second duster a little smaller than this one. However, this size is a pretty good compromise, and I will be happy with it until the other sizes become available, fingers crossed!

Great company to deal with. Fast shipping ect. The duster is genuine ostrich feathers with a wooden handle. I have been using these things for forty years and I can say that these are too quality dusters. Everyone needs one because everyone has dust! With the long handle and long feathers you can reach those cobwebs in the corner of the cealing or the floor without bending or streatching. Great for around d electronic devises, knick knacks, blinds, light covers and on and on and on! the basic theory is to knock the dust down and the vacuum of sweep it off the floor. Spin wooden handle between your two flattened palms to clean the duster. If it gets wet just let it dry and give it a spin. It will be good as new. This was also the best price on the marketplace.

As described, it is about 28" long total with about 13" being feathers. Has a nice long reach for high bookshelves and curtain rods. This is a replacement for the ostrich duster that I've used for decades. I expect the same from this one, but its much too early to rate durability. The feathers are of good quality, but there could be more of them as many others have noted. It's not very dense and fluffy, but enough so that it is getting the job done. It seems to be well-made. I added a string loop in the pre-drilled hole for hanging. Happy with my purchase.

I love these feather dusters and have purchased numerous times. The handle is long enough to reach the tallest areas that I dust. If they have odors, it quickly dissapates and are fresh again. My biggest complaint, and the reason I only gave 3 stars, is their longevity. If you have one feather fall out it starts the decline of the duster. Feathers start to break and come out and then you have a duster with 2or3 feathers. Not useful. The construction could be better. I don't like paying the price to have the duster in sad shape so quickly.

Great duster

I bought this duster for my customers. I do housecleaning and I order feather dusters for each home I clean. The duster on the left is the one I ordered and its skimpy with hardly any feathers. The other duster on the right is one that I bought from another company years ago and you can see how full and soft the feathers are. I was so dissatisfied with these dusters I couldnt even charge my customers for them . I will go back to ordering from beckner feather dusters because their quality is far superior as you can see.

Bought it four years ago. It’s still going strong. Using it as a decoration with the kitties toys is a bonus.

For dusting awkward places around dishes on open shelves or objects and bibelots on tables - this is a great help for daily dusting. It seems well made , fairly priced and fast delivery. Thank you.

Good quality. Feathers are long and healthy. None fallen out so far. Good handle length. Makes dusting quick and efficient. Very pleased.
