I can wear this over a base-layer shirt and under a standard polo or button-down without looking like I’m wearing a life jacket. ​Breathability: The materials are high-quality nylon. It doesn't have the "neoprene smell" that cheaper brands have, and it stays relatively cool during an 8-hour day. ​Functional Real-World Test ​I used this specifically for a 4-hour stint of loading heavy estate-sale finds into a trailer. Helps me do my chores with less pain

This back support provides excellent support. The top and bottom are adjusted separately and support can be fine tuned as needed. An excellent feature of this system is that support can be quickly adjusted for seated vs standing wear. I need support while standing, but release tension while seated to match my needs. I notice that there are quite a few complaints. These complaints are based on unrealistic expectations. This is an entry level product made by Aspen Medical. It is not an equivalent option or alternative to the prescription grade, medical supports in their product line. Those supports cost $80-$200 and more. Any comparison is unrealistic and simply stupid. I wear this support over a t shirt and under nicer clothes. It is not the kind of support for doing heavy lifting or any sort of labor. The Velcro hook and loop fastening system is incredibly strong and of the highest quality. One must follow the instructions to keep it strong. Upon removal, fasten each side to the opposing side. This prevents the Velcro from getting fouled with lint and anything else that weakens the bond. A stiff brush can be used to clean the hook side if fouled. It is easier to keep it clean rather than clean it. This is an excellent support if used for the correct purposes. It is absolutely a recommended buy.

Deal with Scaitica back brace has been a huge help.I don't wear all day although I have gone the whole day wearing it. This belt is the reason I can walk for any distance. It hugs my lower back and relieves my pain. I would suggest getting a larger size if you are between sizes. You can make it smaller, but making it larger defeats the purpose. I love that I can pull it super tight and feel secure. I highly recommend Aspen Lumbar Support.

This is the best back brace I've purchased. It's very comfortable & lightweight--not at all bulky and the pulley strings are fantastic for needed compression. My lower back feels so much stronger when I'm wearing it plus I stand straighter & walk better. I had a much bulkier professional one with the exact same kind of pulley strings from an orthotics store that I ended up giving away. I am trying to find thr exact brace I've been using. This is thr closest I've seen. This brace is excellent in every way, it's comfortable, well made..it's just not what I hoped I was getting. Most likely they do not make it anymore. I am keeping the brace, it definately helps.
