Now our LED overhead lights WORK
We have a track-style light bar with 6 directional LED lights in our kitchen. It started not working well (it would turn on bright, then go dim within minutes) a few months ago. Finally, we ordered this and swapped out the faulty similar unit in the light set and now it works fine. The only weird thing is that after we flip the wall switch on, it takes a second for it to come on. But then it works perfectly.

Works, easy to install, hasn't gotten hot.
This led control is a perfect fit we'll see how long it lasts and a 4-ft double strip setup. I paid roughly $13 and minimal effort to get $145 light repair. Being said I have numerous lights and I've had to fail in 6 months after a few years I now have one in stock and ready to change out immediately when there's a problem. No problem with them they don't make any noise they haven't gotten hot. The Long haul for $13 we will see. Nice plastic construction very solid case.

Fried LED board after a year of functioning properly
I'm a licensed Electrician, & I replace led drivers regularly. This driver worked well for about a year outputting 25V DC, until one day it started putting out 45V DC and fried the LED board. Unfortunately the board is not easily replaced so my light is trash. I also used another brand (mean well) on an identical light fixture around the same time. Mean well driver is still outputting 22V DC rn

This fits inside a particular high quality work light
I can't rate this driver 5 stars at this point because I don't know how long it will last. Given its low price point, I don't expect it to last for a long time. Other reviewers have reported short life. The main reason that I am providing this early review is to report that it does fit inside a particular high end work lamp that was sold some years ago by the "Blue Borg". That lamp has a model number of MPL 1009-LED40L840. It is unfortunate that they have discontinued it because it is a really nice, handy lamp, and they don't seem to sell anything like it any more. Anyway, the original LED driver in that lamp provided a current of 970 mA (as marked), while this one provides only 900 mA. I measured 860 - 870 mA with two of these drivers. So, you won't get quite as much light out of the lamp with this driver as with the original driver, but it fits, and some light from your work lamp is way better than no light!

Great quality
After taking time to make certain the voltage specifications were correct as a replacement part, I ordered this unit. It worked. Now my light fixture is working again.

Good stuff
I was a little concerned about the high voltage (43.5V) open circuit as some others have mentioned so I hooked it up to a voltage/current regulator so that it wouldn't blow out my LED. I set the parameters to be a little higher than what the LED is supposed to handle (36V and 1.2A in the 1st image) ...the LED driver is supposed to deliver constant 900mA so I wanted to see if it would max out at 900mA. Sure enough, the current was hovering around 900mA and the voltage dropped to just under 34V which is about the max voltage the LED is rated at. If you have used a variable power supply you know that if you set a fixed current then the voltage would drop once it max out on the current (V=IR). I decided to play around with the different voltage by lowering it to something like 32V ...thinking it would dim the LED but it started blinking. Same thing when I lowered the amp below the 900mA ...LED started blinking. The lower the setting the faster it blinked. I don't think this has anything to do with the LED because when I hooked it up to another variable power supply and lowered the voltage the same LED would slowly dim all the way down to around 22V before going out completely without any blinking. My guess is that if your LED/load does not draw the current that the driver can deliver (900mA in my case) that the driver does something to pulse the output. Usually you can use higher amperage power supply and the device would draw whatever it needed but in this case, buying something with extra mA is not a good thing (like using a 1500mAh for a LED that only draw 900mAh at 34V). In summary, determine how much current your LED needs and buy the matching unit otherwise you might run into issues.

Looks exactly like what I was replacing, beware it's very large.
Ah, come on. Who actually measures everything. It looked exactly like what I was replacing. Exactly. How could I go wrong. It arrives, and, sheez, it's 3 times the size. I mean huge compared. But still maintained ever detail, like the ends, the screws, it all looked exact. Just way bigger. So of course it didn't fit. I mean it is bigger than most power packs. And it didn't work on my led lights either. Idk why. Just got annoyed that it was my fault for not measuring and checking the exact dimensions listed in metric. Hhmph.

Fixed my shop light.
This was great, I have a couple of LED flood lights in my shop and one of them quit working. I could not find another one like it and I hated to break up a set, plus they were $100.00 each and other similar models were even more expensive so I was tickled to find this power supply. I couldn't find an exact replacement but this one was almost exactly like the one that went bad and it works great. I'm very happy to have my light back at a fraction of the cost.

I have light
Bought to replace a driver for a high bay light rendered inoperable after flooding. Works fine so far after 1 month. Delivery was a bit tardy but price was good so no complaint

Worked perfect!
Replaced in our light….Saved a lot of money instead of replacing light!
