Are the sleeves snug or really loose on armed?

They are not really loose just a normal fit.

5’7” 135 pounds - athletic build. what size?

I'm 5'9", athletic,165 lbs, and i prefer a small in these. A medium would work if i liked a loose fit.

I am 6'4" 200 lbs and slim so when i get polos that fit in the chest and waist they usually are not long enough. Is shirt going to be the same?

I'm 6'3" and 205 lbs. I got a medium and it's long enough and fits well. It could stand to be longer, but it is much better at staying tucked in than my similar Nike polo. Ogio polos seem to work the best, but they're pretty much sold out of their medium sized stock.

Is that a zipper on the front?

Yes. It's super soft. I love it!
