Juki = Reliable.
My Juki HZL-LB5100 arrived yesterday, exactly as promised by my FAVORITE SELLER SEW VAC DIRECT!! 1. I LOVE this seller, they take care of their customers and they stand by every machine they sell. They are located 3 hours from me, and worth every minute of the drive should I need help with a machine. Never hesitate to by from SewVacDirect, they Know what they are doing. Now, this machine is another Juki triumph. I own a Juki HZL-F600, also purchased at SewVacDirect. I have sewn on Juki machines in sewing factories and love the heft and solid feel of sewing with Juki's. I have owned Brother machines and Janome machines, Viking and Bernina that I enjoyed but they cannot hold a candle to a Juki. The LB5100 is a powerhouse. The stitch quality is Perfection in every seam. I unpacked it, set it up, and sewed on my new Juki all afternoon yesterday, well into the evening. Filling the bobbin, as smooth and cleanly filled bobbin as I could expect. I do tell everyone I teach when sewing, SLOW DOWN when you're filling the bobbin, and you will get a smooth tighter bobbin than running a machine full speed. Juki machines do the best and cleanest bobbin of all the machines I've tried. The LB5100 is quiet, sturdy, absolutely NO vibration as Juki machines are solid. I like that Juki machines are quite intuitive and easy to operate. I adore my Juki F-600 and I am adoring my LB5100 as well. There are some sewing projects where I like to do an "assembly line" like set up, one machine for straight sewing, one set up to make buttonholes and maybe add some embroidery with the embroidery machine I have. I look forward to years and years sewing with this Juki. Thanks, SewVacDirect and Amazon You Guys Rock!

I love this machine!
I researched machines and read reviews until my eyes were ready to fall out of my head. I finally narrowed it down to this machine, a Janome and a Brother. I love this machine. It is very easy to use, whether you are a beginner or more advanced sewer this machine will work great for you. There is a instructional DVD that comes along with it as well as a very easy to use manual. The tension in this machine is very even (one of my biggest pet peeves is a machine that does not regulate the tension well!). It is quiet and sews a beautiful stitch. It comes with several excsessories and sewing feet. The only sewing feet I had to purchase separately was an invisible sewing foot and a walker foot. Juki sewing feet can be expensive but I purchased ones on amazon that are compatible and they work just fine. Also, you are not going to be able to buy extra bobbins and things like that at Joanne's. I buy bobbins and other parts online with no trouble. I have used this machine to make several garments and have been very pleased. I don't quilt so am not familiar with all the extra's that a quilter would like in a machine. Also I have used this machine to make a denim skirt and it worked great but if you are really into sewing with heavy fabric you may want to look into a heavy duty machine. This is a great machine for the money. I looked at several that were more expensive and I feel I made the right choice. This machine does have a 100 different stitches, which I admit I do not use very often so I probably would have been just fine with one that does fewer stitches. Overall a great buy, happy sewing.

Excellent yet simplistic computerized sewing machine!
Iโm totally satisfied!!!! Iโm Very happy and Love my new Juki sewing machine!I just received my Juki 5100. I chose Juki because I have a Juki serger bought a year ago, and my experience with the Juki quality is great. Both my Juki machines are shipped from the same seller which is great.The package came in fast and in excellent packaging condition, no missing parts in the standard footing packet. The machine is quite, runs smoothly on all the stitche patterns I tried. I love love how simple it is just to push the arrow buttons to select the stitche I want and go! The instruction in the manual booklet is great with the explanations of different stitche settings, and I found this is very instrumental for a beginner like myself. Besides, the digital screen will show me the correct footing for each different stitche pattern I select, and thatโs pretty much the only thing I need to change out when using different stitche if I have to.I started to make a simple zigzag seams on stretchy cotton knit. And the finish is very impressive as how smooth it looks and effortless to sew it. (I had a different brand mechanical straight line sewing machine that I was so struggling with stretchy, thin or thick fabrics).I am so so happy with what I got as a decision to stay with Juki brand for the price value in quality. And these 100 stitche patterns are just great and good enough for me to do all I need. I am not doing any embodiment or quilting, so I am not speaking of that. But I think I can try with this machine if I can get the correct footings for free style quilting.

Got some nice features and affordable price.
My old machine broke down and I need a new one to complete my project. The one I really like was sold out especially during pandemic it's tough to get one. Luckily, I found this model after looking at other brands. Here are my pros and cons:-Cons: The noise it makes when it's going through thick fabric (4-layers), very "concernable". Most of outer body is plastic and hollow inside which amplifies the noise a bit. Wish they design storage compartment with flip-top, it's much easier to access rather than pulling away from body. If you're not careful, all stuff inside will fall on you.-Pros: These are features that I like about the machine when I watch the promo videoDrop-in bobbins (you can see how much lower thread left)Simplified thread winding (just push the bobbin spindle the machine will detect winding is happening)No need to hold thread when lowering down needle at the start of sewing.No need to turn wheel to lower needle. Push a button to lower, push again to retract.Whenever you stop sewing, the needle is always at the down position (full cycle), easy to pull threads, noneed to yank it like older models.Easy to setup stitch style and lot of them but I only use a few.It's very well-know brand name and the price is affordable.Thanks to seller for very quick shipping during stay-at-home lockdown.

good machine
it's a juki, good sewing machine..my dad likes it.main thing is you have to spend the time to tinker with the machine and learn how to use it.he initially thought it was junk, but once he learned a few tricks he liked it. so it was mostly user error in beginning.you need to have right settings for speed, right needle, and technique...quality of this blows away the competition. we had a singer before, and this is much better;plenty of features, patterns, and settings control.if you really prefer to sew thick materials like jeans, then don't use this, get a standard cast iron one with table and foot control.
