The amount of powder you get for the money is fair. Item arrived undamaged and properly sealed. I love the smell but I love vanilla so that's expected. Dissolves beautifully in water. The flavor is fine but it has that gross sweetener aftertaste which I hate. I now mix it in with my other powders and it doesn't bother me as much. When I got down to about 10 tablespoons left, I went ahead and reordered; however, I ordered the unflavored and am looking forward to trying it in a couple days. I will say this, when I purchased the vanilla, the packaging was plastic. The company has since changed their packaging and the containers are now more paper/cardboard like. I opened the new container and thought, "OMG, this is stupid." I would recommend that the company continue with the current design (free of all that plastic) but they need to change the lid so that it opens similar to a cereal box pull tab.

I’ve been using this collagen in my coffee and smoothies, and the vanilla flavor makes it much easier to drink compared to plain collagen powders. It mixes well, doesn’t feel heavy, and gives a nice little protein boost without added sugar. I love this brand's collagen. I mix this with hot lemon water because collagen works better with vitamin c, and it taste so good. Its easy to mix in hot liquids, no clumping after stirring(thats the only way I consume it so I can't speak to the mixture for smoothies or in food). The only issue that I had this time was not with the collagen itself but they have made it so difficult to open with this new container. It took me awhile to be able to figure out how to open it and then to actually open it. It should not be this difficult. But the actual product is good quality

I love Vital Protein Collagen and usually get the plain or unflavored variety. I tried the lemon first and I loved the taste and was hoping I would love the vanilla as well. It tasted too sweet to me, so I mix it 50/50 with the plain collagen.

I think its great! I am switching back to a non flavored, but I find that it goes good in my coffee! I haven't tried it by itself, but I LOVE that after I mix it with my frother that it is NOT gritty!! Ill probably buy again when Im done with my non flavored one! It dissolves easily. I haven't seen much on my skin, but I feel that im not as sore after a workout. Energy wise is better, but im also postpartum and healing from pregnancy. No negative side effects tho!

I have been a fan of Vital Proteins (chocolate) since I statted using it early last year. the product tastes good and really works. Later I tried the unflaverd version and that also worked. Fast forwasrd to this week and I received the Vanilla flavor in a new "updated" container. Not nearly as impressed the Vanilla tastes weak. More importantly is that the company deldeterd the easier to open plastic lid and replaced it with a bit more complicated tub and lit that takes a minute to open and when it does is clumsy and will not last in my view. This was all done in the interest of reducing plastic. I was in the private label packaging and selling business for a number of years and I have to say that this is a mistake. Also the wording on this paper container can hardly be seen sine is it white on yellow What's going to happen is that you will save on plastic but at the cost of consumers not buying it. If the chocolate goes that way, as well, good luck keeping that on the shelf for long. Nutra cost is surely watching closely.

This was a great buy for me! In addition to the collagen I desperately need , the vanilla flavor works well as a coffee creamer. So, I get 3 morning must haves. Vanilla creamer and collagen in my coffee. I need to add that the vanilla flavor isn’t over powering for the coffee; just a light hint of vanilla so you still get coffee that tastes like coffee.

No me gustó nada el sabor. No sabe a vainilla y está muy dulce pero con el sabor del edulcorante. Está muy artificial. No me lo puedo acabar pues me cuesta mucho ponerle a mis batidos y cambiarles a un sabor que no me gusta nada.
