Ordered GC026/30, the pink one, yesterday evening and it arrived this morning. Delivered securely in a box within a box containing the fabric remover, small cleaning brush and 2 X Philips batteries plus instructions but I didn't bother with these as the operation appeared to be extremely simple. The Fabric Shaver is lightweight, easy to hold and manoeuvre and the construction looks and feels of good quality. I was eager to get started, childlike and full of expectation to see what it could do and, I wasn't disappointed. So, I left what I was doing, grabbed a few jumpers and a lightweight hiking jacket all of which were seriously bobbled. Well they're not now; it was like using a pencil eraser in a 'rubbing out' the mistakes exercise. The bobbles are no more and generally came away first time. Some were a bit more persistent so I altered my up and down movements to side to side and this worked well. My clothing has been given that 'as new' look, sure a touch of prior wear but who cares or would even notice? Fantastic results! The most important action, in my opinion, is to regularly empty the fabric collection container, brush off and occasionally clean up the blades inside the casing. This will ensure the little electric motor is not straining and will probably help the batteries last longer. A brilliant maintenance tool and highly recommended. I had to drag myself away because this is seriously habit forming.
