Apple Watch Series 7 (GPS, 41mm) Starlight Aluminum Case with Starlight Sport Band, Regular (Renewed)

First time smartwatch user after using a Mi Band 6 mostly as just a watch & sleep tracker for a while. I'm thoroughly impressed (and honestly pretty overwhelmed!) with this little gadget! Firstly, I got this used/refurbished so I wasn't expecting much since I've never had luck with used tech off the internet in the past. It came in the sketchiest packaging and in less than like 12 hours. Besides the odd packaging, I would've never known it wasn't brand new. Not a single scratch or fingerprint anywhere. It just looks and feels new. Asked a friend and they couldn't tell, either. Strap was easy to install. I'm not a fan of silicone watch straps, so I bought me one that breathes a little better (and is some subtle Pride lol) It's very comfortable on my wrist and I don't even notice it despite it being slightly heavier and twice as wide as my Mi Band was. The battery was completely dead and had a snake on the screen, so I asked Prof Google what to do. After about 5 minutes on the provided charger cable (which is definitely not new or legit Daddy Apple), the snake was gone and hooray watch! I'll definitely go find me a more solid charger. Battery capacity shows at 100% on the Battery Health screen and it charged to 50% very quickly. I'm still getting use to the controls and already paired it to my iPhone 13, which was really easy -- even for someone that just upgraded from a 7+ a few weeks ago. Really love that it's nice to those of us who prefer to wear watches on our right wrists. I might actually flip the device so the dial is on the bottom left. Overall, I'm just really impressed! Trying to better use technology to simplify my life and health and I'm really happy with this new tool sitting on my wrist! (Ok, and seeing my cat stare at me, tbh)

Can’t afford latest version. This Series 7 was a great value for me at $130. Looks good. Works good. Set up easy with my iPhone. Love all the features and especially the Always On feature. My only complaint is that I ordered the Blue Watch and band. The shipping box label states watch inside box is Blue but the watch and band are black. I really wanted the blue watch but that’s ok because I love it.

Update a few months later. I returned the watch after writing the previous review; no problems, so the vendor was fine. I purchased a new watch a non-Apple store. I had the same problem charging the new one. It simply would not charge with the charger that came in the new box, so the refurbished watch was probably as good as new. I've gone from outlet to outlet trying to get the watch to charge. It's finally found a home in a lower bedroom socket with a USB C adapter. In general, the Apple watch is fairly convenenient for catching calls when the phone is in another room. There are lots of great watchbands available from 3rd-party vendors for a fraction of what the manufacturer charges for bands. I like that I have my own photos circulating on it. It does some weird things, like when I start my car it often tells me how long it will take to get somewhere random, or if not home, how long it will take to get home and what the traffic it like on the highway near home; not on the freeway I need to take to get to that highway. All-in-all, the watch is ok. There are still times when I put it on the charger at night and it's dead when I take it off the next day. The Apple-provided charger doesn't work at all. Not really impressed. Update to last week's review: I received the USB adapter, charged the watch overnight and it didn't start. Put it on a different outlet to charge. Didn't start. Held both buttons down for over 10 seconds as recommended by support video. Never saw the apple or anything else, just a black screen. Returning watch as it was DOA. I'll update the review numbers later. Just received the watch. I looks like new and came a few days earlier than expected. However, I won't know whether it works or not for another week as the charging cable has a USB C end rather than a regular USB end. My Apple chargers and other USB chargers require the appx. 1/2" rectangular USB end to go into the charger and the C end goes into the device. I had to order a USB C female to USB male adapter to charge the watch, and it's supposed to arrive in six days. It actually says "USB C charger" in the write up, so I can't fault the seller. I just hadn't put it together that the C was the part that went into the charger; rather than the watch. I wanted to warn others to order an adapter; if you don't have one; when ordering the watch so you won't be disappointed having to wait for both the watch and then the adapter.

The watch I bought was Renewed Excellent. As far as physical quality goes, it is in great shape. There are no scratches and the watch looks great and works fine. However, Excellent renewed watches are supposed to have a battery health rating of more than 90%, and this one is at 89%. So, technically, it's not excellent, and for that reason I'm only giving 4 stars. The watch seems great other than that, and I must say, I never thought of getting a green watch before getting this one, but it's gorgeous! The strap that came with it is third-party, as is the charger, but it looks OK. This was sold by BuySPRY and shipped by Amazon.

After reading the reviews i was ready to just cancel my order but i decided to give it a try and it is actully in almost perfect condition one small scratch at the very bottom of the screen not even noticeable watch works excellent and the battery life is 80% so its not too bad i highly recommend giving it a shot to save some money in your next purchase !!

Awesome watch in every way! Appears as if new! Perfect size and comfort for my smaller wrist. I am using this 7 version because my cardiologist recommended a watch to monitor my heart with the EKG feature. The fitness tracker literally helps me know how my heart is and links easily to my doctor’s website . The screen is strong and clear without a scratch evident. The watch and is comfortable and new condition. I love this watch . Plus the cost was a third of a new Apple Watch.

Very pleased with this purchase. Product is in great shape and was delivered on time. TBH I was kinda nervous when I saw some of the reviews on here but my experience couldn’t have been better thanks

The refurbished Apple 7 watch looks nice, charged and paired ok after I charged it that first day. Used for one day, but the battery would only charge to 63% and says “battery needs service”. After one days use, the battery charger stopped working and won’t charge. Tried to unpair so I could return but the watch died before I could make sure it is unpaired. It won’t charge. The watch says “ Please charge the watch before continuing…” Either the charger that came with it is bad and/or the watch has issues. It does need a new battery for sure. Why did they sell a watch as refurbished that says “battery needs service”? Contacted Apple support and they did a diagnostic and said I need to take it in for service, most likely battery. So I didn’t buy a refurbished watch, but a used watch that wasn’t tested. Now I have to buy a new charger to try, or take it in to Apple service to make sure it can recharge enough to finish the unpair. Wish I didn’t buy this watch. I purchased the protection plan so I can file a claim with them but didn’t expect so much hassle. I thought refurbished meant someone tested it, replaced the bad battery, stuff like that. Refurbished should mean it passed a series of tests such as can it charge with the shipped charger and make sure the watch doesn’t say battery needs service. I’ll either return it or file a claim. Too bad because I liked the watch for the few hours I was able to use it. Update: Found out from Asurion, who denied my claim, said that because I can still return the watch to Amazon they don't cover any problems. So if you get the Asurion 2-year protection plan please note that it does not cover anything until the watch that doesn't work is past the return date. You can't fix it yourself and hope to be reimbursed, if the watch is still within the return to Amazon time period. Just be aware because I assumed Asurion would pay to have the faulty watch I received fixed, but they said it's the seller's responsibility first, so a return is the only option. Another Update: I successfully canceled the apple repair I began with apple and was refunded for the battery repair fee. Then I started the returned for the watch on amazon. The only way Amazon allows the return is to have UPS pick up the watch from your house. If you are gone to work for the 3 pickups, then your return will be cancelled, so if you can't stay home and wait by the door for UPS, then you are out of luck returning an apple watch purchased on Amazon. I called Amazon support to request a different return method, and they said, that is the only return method, but they would specify to UPS to leave the return label if I'm not home. Turns out UPS received two return label orders for the same watch return from Amazon. Luckily (i guess) I was home sick from work that day, and was able to return with the UPS person with one return label. The UPS person said they would not have left the label if I wasn't home. Even though my item was picked up by UPS, they dutifully came back 2 more times with the other duplicate return label until that label became cancelled. Luckily Amazon received the apple watch with one of the labels. (Make sure to print out and include the amazon return info in the box because who knows what mistakes are made an Amazon with 2 UPS return labels being assigned to one watch return). Once Amazon received the faulty watch in their hands, the return was issued, and I was refunded. The process was not fun. I called amazon support about 5 times, and apple support about 6 times during the process, and all the Assurion support forms. I went to costco and bought a new Apple watch there and picked it up at the store which is what I should have done in the first place. I wouldn't recommend buying an Apple watch on Amazon. Try anywhere else!!! From Amazon I received a "reburbished" watch where the setting on the watch said "Battery needs repair" so it wasn't tested first. Also the watch charger was defective so it wasn't tested either. The only item that worked was the watch band. Not fun! Run!!!

I was a bit nervous about purchasing a renewed product, but you can't beat the price and fast delivery. Where I live, there are no Apple stores. Amazon is my go to store for most of the purchases. HOwever this is the 1st time I have ordered an expensive watch without trying it on or from the Apple store. It did take a while to get the software update for both our phone and the Apple Watch and pair the watch, install some apps, once it is done, your watch is ready to go. it does not feel like a refurbished or renewed one. it looks like a brand-new one. you do need to buy a USBc wall charger to charge the watch. other than that, I am very happy with the purchase and the money saved.

It works exceptionally well. Only one thing, the battery doesn’t last more than 12 hours.

Ordered the excellent refurbished one; however, when it arrived, the screen had lots of noticeable scratches, came with a charger that wouldn’t work unless you had it at a certain angle, a very cheap band, and the crown on the side was difficult to press and sounded very wrong. The ECG app wasn’t able to detect my finger and couldn’t get a reading. I also just realized after writing this that the battery health isn’t even 80% of its original capacity.

Compré este reloj para sorprender a mi papá que es algo mayor y quería algo así para facilitarse la vida pero no tan caro al ser su primer smart Watch, pero la verdad estoy algo decepcionada. El reloj viene con varios rayones en la pantalla, estaba sucio de donde se pone la correa y la batería es de 81%. Ni la correa ni el cargador son originales. Y otra cosa, el medidor de oxígeno en la sangre ya no está disponible, hubiera comprado un SE y sería más barato y probablemente mejor. Esto último no es culpa del vendedor pero igual siento que es una función que valía la pena y ya no está. No gasten en esta versión en especial si es reacondicionado. Edito: le había dado dos estrellas pero ahora solo le dejo una y porque le tengo que dar. Este reloj ha salido más caro que comprar uno nuevo en la tienda de Apple. He gastado en batería nueva, cargador y cuadro originales. Estoy muy arrepentida de haber comprado este reloj. Solicité devolución pero me la negaron. Así que no me queda de otra que quedarme con un reloj inservible.

The vendor has done and excellent job for description of the watch. The guarantee and return is acceptable. The quick delivery was excellent for northern Manitoba. No problems at all pairing with IPhone. As expected, all the updates and downloads took some time. The final setup caused problems for the Digital Crown functionality. Push down on the Digital Crown and Siri would pop up preventing access to any settings or apps. After four hours of trying to find out where the probable trouble was., the area causing the problem was probably the app not having completely downloaded all the information. A complete factory reset had to be done. The new watch app was installed. Downloads all done. All is now as it should be. There is a caveat to my excellent rating. This is the first Apple Watch I have owned and used. There is a learning curve. There are very many technical things to learn. The apps also have to be evaluated and validated as excellent. There have only been three days since delivery to check out functions on this Apple Watch series 7 GPS. I was happily surprised to find that this phone also has cellular. This was not included with the advertisement. A person may have to reevaluate the total functionality after a longer period of time using the watch. Take this as excellent rating as an initial evaluation. Recommend.
