RCA 3.5mm Audio Switch

This is just a basic audio switch, without amplification or mixing, nothing fancy. I have it set up so that the side with 2 connections is used for output, the phono plugs going out to the speakers, the 3.5 mm socket used for headphones, so it is easy to switch between the two. The four connections on the other side are for inputs, such as PC, phone, etc., all 3.5 mm sockets, with a rotating switch on top that allows me to select the input. It also has a rotating volume control, but it does not make much difference. I know it will not amplify, but turning it down should really make more of a difference when I want to adjust the volume. Overall, seems well made and a good product without any hissing or interference, the sound quality is perfectly okay.

Works fine,but having looked at the various images of the product from various sellers, it's much smaller than i had expected,which is fine as a portable device,but for my intended use at home, it would've been nice if 50% bigger,heavier,so i will have to use some double-sided adhesive pads to stop it moving around on my shelf. Some product descriptions give the size of the box it arrives in,not the actual product,so you don't always know until it arrives .

Currently using it to switch audio between three different computers and a single speaker. Works fine and without any noise.

I use mine to input a number of sources into a mixer. Saves a lot of cable swapping etc. I can't detect any noise or hiss from it when in use, so a good item.

Edited review: I thought I’d double check that this was indeed faulty just before packaging it up to return. I am not sure why it wasn’t working before, but now it works as expected, maybe there is a loose connection in the supplied cable. Anyway it now works and there is no noise even when switching between outputs and inputs. I’ve ordered a better quality mini Jack cable as the one supplied is not that good. I’d suggest to the manufacturer that they change the cable they supply. Original review: Maybe I was unfortunate to get a defective one - but it it not work at all

It failed in under a year. i should have pressed for a replacement, but I was too occupied and now it's past time.

Fonctionne très bien. Boîtier de faible encombrement. Notice peu utile car quasi illisible. Seul point faible : les câbles ne sont pas tous orientés du même coté du boîtier si bien que l'aspect esthétique global s'en trouve un peu "dégradé".

Il prodotto funziona bene ed è di facile gestione. Non ho usato i cavi in dotazione ma non ne conosco la qualità. Quindi la mia valutazione si riferisce solo al device.

Gebruik deze om te schakelen tussen mijn TV-out signaal en mijn platenspeler met line-out signaal. Perfect hiervoor. Geen ruis. Mute knop is ook makkelijk en de volumeknop is ook handig al heb ik hem voluit staan.

Als ich den Umschalter bekommen habe, habe ich schon nicht schlecht gestaunt wie klein das Ding doch ist. Mein "letzter" war da bedeutend größer. Aber die Kompaktheit ist ja auch nicht weiter schlimm. Außer vielleicht, dass die Anschlüsse sowohl hinten als auch vorne rein geht. Das sieht auf dem Schreibtisch vielleicht etwas blöd aus. Ich habe ihn mir jetzt "quer" gelegt und die Kabel gehen dann seitlich nach hinten weg. Es liegt auch ein Anschlusskabel (Cynch auf Cynch) bei um den Verteiler gleich an eine Anlage anzuschließen. Sehr gut, denn das dürfte bei den meisten dann ja fehlen :) Mit einem gut Spürbaren Druckumschalter wird dann der Kanal umgeschaltet. Es gibt auch noch einen "Stummschalter", den ich persönlich eigentlich nicht brauche, bzw. könnte man auch schnell an den Lautstärkeregler daneben bedienen. Der ist allerdings auch recht klein und relativ Schwergängig. Alles macht aber einen sehr guten und wertigen Eindruck und auch das Gehäuse ist aus Metall. Das Umschalten funktioniert natürlich einwandfrei und gibt auch keine unangenehme Geräusche. Natürlich kann man beide Signale nach Wunsch umschalten. Nur beide gleichzeitig geht natürlich nicht. Die "Richtung" ist hier übrigens egal. Man kann also zwei Quellen an einen Verstärker anschließen, oder eben eine Quelle an zwei Lautsprechersysteme. Das kann für Musiker interessant sein, die mal Über Monitore oder PA Anlage abspielen wollen. Ich habe bei mir einen Bluetooth-Empfänger und einen PC angeschlossen. Das ganze an eine alte 90er Jahre Anlage. So kann ich dann entsprechend umschalten, welches Gerät gerade "gehört werden will". Aber kann ja jeder selbst entscheiden, was er anschließt :)

Prima produkt, klein en praktisch. Ik gebruik het om mijn dac te gebruiken met een solid state en een buizenversterker, 1 druk op de knop om van A naar B te gaan. Geen bromtoon (waar ik bang voor was).
