Real Ryobi batteries - appear to be new/unused and function fine but not in original packages (do have some coverings over contact that appear to be factory) - likely part of a tool set, or intended for that purpose. Not dated. Time will tell how long they last

Just what I needed at a great price.
The batteries were very well packed. Good power out of the package and they fit the tools and the charger perfectly. They both have been working well with no problems. And a good price for replacements. Can't say anything bad about this company.

One of two batteries failed
My recent purchase of this two pack was disappointing because one of the batteries failed to charge. I have the Ryobi 6-port charger and attempted at more than one port. The charger showed a steady RED light indicating it cannot charge. The other battery charged fine, but since it's a pair I must return both. It would have been better for me, obviously, if I only had to return 1 battery but that was not an option. I have operated Ryobi cordless tools for about 10 years and they are largely satisfactory to excellent. I have ceased buying Non-Ryobi brand (same for Black and Decker or Milwaukee) due to the abbreviated service life of knockoffs.
