What is borosillicate - I am going to put Bacteriostatic water in them - is this ok?

Hi Marilyn!  I am inclined to say, "yes."  Borosillicate is a description of the composition of the glass the vial is made from.  Common silicate glass (i.e. window panes, drinking glasses, etc.) is a mixture of sand, sodium-carbonate and limestone and is not resistant to temperature changes.  For example, if you take a glass hot from the dishwasher and filled it with ice & water, it will crack or shatter.  But, when you add boric oxide to the sand, sodium-carbonate & limestone, you get a high quality of glass that can withstand extreme temperature change.  I hope this helps.  Best regards, Claudette

How do you open the lids? Turning counter-clockwise and clockwise does not open them. Do they have to be forcefully pryed off?

you don't open the kids. whatever liquid that's in it is extracted via syringe and needle

Under your answer you state " they are not Sterile "  then how can you sell them as sterile?

Not sure who “your” is. If you are purchasing ACS Pharma vials they are sterility tested at an FDA Registered Lab. Will provide COA upon request.

can u fill then up with meds

I filled two with meds and the vials leak at the top because they were (both) unable to seal after being filled with an 18g needle. They leak air and they leak medication. I have to store them upright, and when I draw medication, normal back-pressure causes them to eject medication past the needle. The elastic material used to seal the top is inferior.
