is this compatible with windows 10?

If you have a ps2 keyboard input (purple) on your computer it will work just fine. I have ps2 kb (and mouse) on 2 systems running win 10 without an issue.

Does this have mechanical keyboard switches (what color) or are they rubber dome contacts?

No, it’s a membrane keyboard.
