Does anyone know if I can print on wood?

I'm going to give this question an educated guess because I've never block printed on wood. Paper is made from wood, so I would say if you tried to print on a wood block that it would work. Depending on how rough or smooth your wood surface is will determine how much detail you will see in your design. Try it! Have fun!

Can think ink be used to print on glass?

I have not tried but I assume it would. I wouldn’t recommend painting on something that would be washed often, but if it was on a picture frame or vase it should stay. It’s a pretty thick paint.

Does this ink stay on clothing? I am looking to do some block printing on scarves or tshirts. (Ink on sidewalk pattern, then cloth on top of that)

Speedball makes an ink that is specifically for fabric. I highly recommend that! It’s a lot thicker so be sure to REALLY coat whatever stamp or what not you are using and you set the ink by drying them in the dryer.

Can you mix a clear purple from these? And a cool clear green?

They are mixable and provide nice color. but color names have no universal specificity. ---I guess if your fussy enough to ask this you wiill probably not be happy with any paints starting with the three primary colors.

Best printing ink

You cannot go wrong with speedball ink. It’s thick, easy to roll on printing blocks. It’s dries to the touch within 30 minutes. Easy use for beginners.

Speedball is reliable

Basic set of water-based block printing inks. The red and blue are very saturated primary colors, but there is a lot of white in the yellow so its more of a butter color rather than a primary yellow. Either way, works well for my purposes. Smaller tubes, so they don't last super long, but great to play around with. Speedball is my go-to brand, especially for water-based inks (there is more clean-up required with oil-based inks). I also have a roller from Speedball that has lasted me more than 2 years. Good stuff!
