These went on easy and work great. Very nice addition to vintage carrisel lamps.

I have a pair of old whimsical monkey sconces that have been in a closet for some time. I finally got my renovations done and had the perfect spot for them in my home. Unfortunately, I was not able to do the preferred in-wall wiring due to plumbing within the wall behind them. So, I had to opt for plug-in wiring. That's fine, and I will be covering up the wiring with some paintable wall channeling. I decided I did NOT want to have an inline switch, so touch controls were my best and most logical choice. These modules are EXACTLY what I needed. The size and dimensions were perfect as well, because I had a limited area where they would be installed. The assembly and installation was a breeze. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. I had no issues and the process for both sconces only took about 20 minutes. The end results are great. I just touch the metal tubes of the arms that hold the lamps and the modules control the lighting. I found the perfect LED bulbs to complete the project. I highly recommend these modules. They add a professional and novel 'touch' to any light/lamp that has metal on it.

Both of them stopped working after 1 use. Horrible quality. Was easy to use though.

These were exactly what I needed. The instructions that come with are not that helpful but a quick google search was all I needed to wire them in correctly. Both my lamps are now back to working order.

IKEA's Tertial lamp is perfect for my desk but I recently had to replace it as the twist-style switch on top eventually gave out; in fairness, it was after a good number of years' service life. I decided to take the plunge and convert my new one to touch in order to eliminate the moving part point of failure. It's an easy job if you're reasonably confident with wiring and have wire cutters, wire strippers, and the skills to make a few splices. I'm happy to say everything is working well - even the painted surfaces function to turn the lamp on and off - I wasn't sure going in whether or not the coating would insulate too much to prevent function on anything other than the bare-parts hardware (springs, screws, etc.). I've attached a video of my newly-converted light in action as well as a close-up of where I installed the sensor wire in case you want to attempt the same on this specific light. Cons: I had to try a few different brands of LED bulbs before I found one that did not buzz at the two lower brightness settings even though they were all branded as dimmable. I am not sure if this is the fault of the bulbs or the circuitry in the dimmer unit. Also, the sensor wire could be a bit longer. I extended mine with an extra splice in order to keep the dimmer unit more out-of-sight behind my desk. To answer a common question I saw prior to purchasing: You can only control 3 brightness settings with this unit; it cannot function as a simple full-power off/on.

Perfect. Exactly as advertised. This dimmer works exactly like the broken one it replaced. Have used it daily for more than a month and love it. The installation was just as explained in the wiring diagram. Note to novices. If you're not experienced or comfortable working with AC electrical, this control module is not for you. The time it takes for you to replace the old one (if that's what you are planning on doing) will vary. Because my setup also had a AC socket and USB charging ports it made things more complicated - lots of wires to deal with - but that's not due to this dimmer module. If this was the only thing in the circuit, it would have been a lot faster. Suggestion, don't attempt to install this unless you are comfortable replacing things like wall sockets and light switches. And read the wiring diagram carefully, check with a volt meter, and don't rely on the wire color coding alone.

Worked great -- instructions not difficult if you're a little familiar with wiring. Not using them though, as they always return to "off" state when power is applied. They do not retain their last setting if power is removed, so won't work with our wall switch in the room. Would be perfect for me if they defaulted to "on" instead.

Well, the one that does work works good the problem is I ordered a two pack for a reason now I have to buy another one, but I’m not gonna buy from this company.

Fue un simple reemplazo de partes que no requirió mucho tiempo. Funciona como se espera y vale la pena tener uno de repuesto en caso de tener este tipo de lámparas.
