Can the Opal be used as a wi-fi to wired ethernet bridge? I don't want to repeat any wi-fi signal, Only connect to an existing wi-fi via wired etherne

There isn't an explicit mode for connecting as a wireless client bridge. A work-around to this may be to switch off both 2.4 and 5GHz wireless networks, while in the default router mode. This step should prevent other wireless devices from using the Opal as a repeater. One that is done, you can change the operational mode from router to WDS (if your main router supports it) or extender mode otherwise. Full disclosure: this approach works for me on the Beryl model, so I think there is a better than even chance it will also work on Opal, but that is an untested assumption right now.
