Orbit 58993 7-Pattern Watering Nozzle with Thumb Control, Black

This is one of the heaviest sprinkler heads I have ever bought. It has a great spray pattern choices. It seems to have no seams, so leakage hopefully won't happen. It is a great value for the money.

I've had a lot of watering nozzles over the decades and this one is the best. It's made very well, virtually all metal, and doesn't leak. Turn on and off or easily adjust the pressure with your thumb. Also worth noting, the thumb lever has what I believe is the proper orientation. Push it for more water, pull it back for less water or to turn the water off. Some nozzles have this backwards. You can get used to either, but having both on different hoses reminds you that this is the best way. The grip on this has the nuckle gard which makes no sense to me. However, I suspect it's there to stiffen the entire nozzle and in that regard it works well. It's very solid, turns smoothly and doesn't leak or drip. Just be sure to have a good washer in it. I'm going to buy more of this one as my other nozzles break or die.

I typically get two to three years out of one of these but I'm extremely hard on them. I'm bad about dropping them on the concrete and whatnot, needless to say they deal with a lot of abuse on my side and take every bit of it. I personally depend very heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon, as do many other consumers. I not only read what reviewers say, but look to see what their pictures reveal about a products true quality and description. I aim to not only feature the products I review in many different aspects, analyzing many qualities, I also provide my own opinions on ALL the good AND bad experiences I have with the product I review. I take time to learn and use a product as it was intended before I review it, and I have used this specific product thoroughly. My rating system: 5 - Met all my expectations. Was described and pictured perfectly. Exactly what I wanted and needed. Extremely useful product and a great value. Would recommend to family and friends. 4 - Very good product. Exactly as described. May have a minor flaw, mentioned in the review, that does not detract from the products perceived value. Would recommend to family and friends. 3 - Average product. Not exactly as described, or misleading advertising or product pictures. Possibly substandard build quality, or something else explained in the review. Would mention as an option to family and friends, but not recommend. 2 - Wouldn't recommend this product. Poor build quality, not close to being as described. Flimsy and fragile. Difficult to use due to product flaws. 1 - Do not purchase whatsoever. Usually only given if product lasts only a few hours/days/etc. I do not leave 1 star reviews without contacting the seller. I will be returning the product. I did NOT receive ANY discount for this product. I simply enjoy reviewing every one of my purchases.

I've got 6 of these between a business and 2 houses. The ones at the business are used multiple times a day on various settings (full, jet, shower) and no issues with any of them. I have them as replacements for the giraffe retractable hoses and these are wonderful. Real metal, real o-ring, easy glide for the thumb trigger. Frankly, I wouldn't even try another brand/type since these work so well.

Does what it's supposed to. Lots of spray choices. Solid and strong. Slides on and off the hose easily without leaking. Good, solid, dependable tool.

I have at least a dozen hose nozzles, and this is one of the best. The action of the thumb control is very smooth and the patterns of the sprays are all excellent. The nozzle sprays with excellent pressure and the excellent control from the thumb control makes it easy to dial in just the amount of spray you need. The D handle is convenient for hanging the nozzle on a wide variety of hook sizes. Plus, it is made in Taiwan and is reasonable priced.

I’ve been through so many hose nozzles that end up disappointing after a relatively short period of use. This particular one is easy to use and dependable over time.

Lasted ONE season! Bought April 2025 and loved the design while it worked. Took it out to use in Spring 2026 and water shot out from 4 different places - NOT at the hose connection, but from the whole piece!

Have been using these for several years now. Stands up to outdoor tropical weather and daily use. The best nozzle so far.

Ive used a lot of hose end sprayers in my time, and this one is the absolute best. doesn't leak, has lots of settings from fine mist to jet, you don' t have to squeeze it or keep turning to adjust. ... just click the wheel to to the right setting roll it on as far as you need and water away. Lots of control for changing volume... Seems solid and well made, and should last well, ive had the longer wand version for several years and they are still fine.

Poor quality broke in half after only 8 months of light use.

Love this nozzle, so easy to adjust strength and turning it off. Feel in love with this when I was watering my neighbours flowers and it was so great, no leaks no water spraying from attachment
