Great Fix For Primo Water Dispenser
We have had a Primo bottom loading tank water cooler for about 3 years. A couple of weeks ago the cold water stopped flowing. If I unplugged the unit and plugged back in after a few hours it would flow and then stop again. I came to the conclusion that the unit was cooling too much and freezing the line. After some online searches I found a YouTube video where a guy walked through a potential fix, which was replacing the temperature sensor probe and how he did it. This led me to purchase this pack of temperature sensor probes which have worked perfectly. If you are in this position and need to replace this probe on your Primo unit, your going to need the following: - These temperature probes - Electrical tape - Philips head screw driver - A long knife or blade Here are the steps to replace the sensor: - Unplug power to your unit - Unscrew the two screw at the top of the back of the unit - Pop the top off the unit and sit it off to the side - Find the black wire that connects to the board which terminates to a blue port - This wire will go into the side of tank which is surrounded by styrofoam - Use a long knife to cut a small section of the styrofoam out around where the wire enters - Slide the section out and pull the prove out - Cut the wire and splice in this new probe - Slide it back into the hole on the side of the tank - Put styrofoam section back into place - Put top back on and power unit on Such a great product an easy fix to a problem.

Great product
Worked perfect. Here's a tip, when you splice the wires, do not twist them all together. You need to split them in two and twist them separately.

Works as described. Good value!
Works well with primo cooler. Simple fix for a low price. More than needed, but at least I have extras in case of future failures.

Fixed my Primo water filter -- mostly
Used this to replace a faulty thermostat sensor on my Primo Electronic Control Black and Stainless Steel Bottom Load Water Cooler (purchased at Costco.) After about 1.5-2 years, it suddenly stopped dispensing water, though it sounded like the pump and the cooler were running. TL/DR: The thermostat went out, so the water was freezing inside the unit. You can find a fairly easy (though fiddly) tutorial on YouTube on how to fix this yourself, but this is the part you need to replace. Pros: It took about 20 minutes and minimal tools. Cons: The plug on the end of this cord -- white -- is not the same as the plug in my unit (which was blue with an additional tab on the bottom.). So I had to cut and splice the temperature probe from. this piece into my existing piece with the blue plug. Again, it worked. It's a bit finicky to do. However, I'd rather pay $8 for a replacement part than $180 to get a new unit. If you like DIY it's worth a shot.

Works very well
Worked very well. I have a Primo water dispenser that would constantly stop working because the cold water would freeze up. This is the sensor that you need to replace so you don't have to throw out your water dispenser. The only tricky part is that I think the plug was slightly different so I ended up cutting off the plug from the original sensor and soldering it onto this one. Now everything is working fine :-)

Saved My Water Cooler (and My Wallet)
My Primo water cooler was turning into an ice factoryโtank freezing solid thanks to a faulty temp sensor. Instead of dropping $150+ on a replacement unit, I grabbed this DROK 10K probe for pennies and fixed it myself in under an hour. The longest part? Disassembling the cooler (screws, panels, and a bit of patience). Once inside, swapping the sensor was a breeze: wiring isn't polarity-specific, so no guessingโjust snip, strip, connect, and done. The probe is accurate, responsive, and sealed perfectly for the job. Tank temps are stable now, no more ice blocks. If you're handy and hate overpaying for repairs, this is your go-to. Worked flawlesslyโcoolerโs back in action, and Iโm out less than a lunch. Highly recommend!

Better quality sensors for my garbage quality water dispenser.
I was forced to buy these due to the crap quality Primo water dispenser I own. It has a known issue where the sensor goes bad and causes the unit to freeze up. Saved me $400 by fixing my dispenser instead of having to buy a new one. Unfortunately, it isnโt plug and play. You have to do some wiring, but so worth it.

So far so good...
Bought these to replace the temperature probe in our water cooler. Was able to cut out the old one and splice one of these it. Works perfectly a year later and I have some backups in case it does wear out. A great deal!

Keep it cold. These are the answer.
I bought these temperature sensors to fix my Avalon water cooler. I love my water cooler and hated the thought of spending more on another one. Found a video on YouTube to fix it. These sensor probes are easy to change and come at a great price. I highly recommend buying them as they work great. My water cooler is just like new. It's an easy fix. Why pay more.

Cheap and it worked
Installed and it worked. Had to splice it into original probe wire as plug was not the same but no problem. Cheap and it worked so 5 stars.

Cooler sensor
Installed after following some youtube pros, it worked excellent. I have Avalon water dispenser and it is different little bit 5han most in those videos but the good thing the sensor connector fit right into the board . I did not have to cut and join wires so check your dispensers carefully before cutting following the videos.
