Eases pain with comfort and quality!
I have tried various ice pack items with none being comfortable or well-fitting. I took a chance on this one and I am so glad I made the purchase. It stays cold longer than any other I have tried, around 30 minutes. It fits comfortably and is easy and quick to strap on when needed. The weight is just right, not too heavy, not too light. It stays in place well because of the adjustable straps. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has had frustrations with similar products.

Good choice
This was great for me! I get a good hour from the cold. I got a size too big but it does the job!

worth it if you need to ice for long term
I bought three of these to ice my shoulder after a surgery. I have been mostly happy with them. These are certainly not things I would want to keep in the freezer in case there is an accident. They take up a lot of room in the freezer that I wouldn't want to sacrifice in the long term. My pros and caveats. They get cold enough--not like a bag of ice, but enough to feel really good when you first put it on. They don't stay cold all that long, but since you should rotate icing on/off it isn't a huge problem if you have multiples. A single one can't be refrozen in the off-ice period. That's why I ended up with three. Cons There doesn't seem to be enough gel in them, because the gel will ooze down into the lower (arm) part as it melts. I understand gravity, but a few sealed compartments could help keep the gel more evenly distributed. You can squeeze it back into the upper part, but with limited mobility and strength subsequent to the accident that caused the surgery, this wasn't possible for me a lot. Strap system doesn't work for me. The straps are a single piece designed to be put over your head and opposite arm (think like a messenger bag) and then the longer strap wraps around your entire arm and the gel pad. I don't currently have the flexibility or mobility to do either of those things. Would be better if you slid your arm into the cuff created at the bottom of the unit and then the upper shoulder sling had a clasp or buckle to close it. Company should definitely do some more testing with disabled users.

Excellent Relief and Very Comfortable
This shoulder ice pack wrap exceeded my expectations. The gel pack stays cold for a long time, provides excellent coverage around the shoulder, and the wrap keeps everything securely in place without constantly needing to readjust it. The fit is comfortable, the straps are easy to adjust, and it's much more convenient than trying to balance a regular ice pack on your shoulder. It helped reduce soreness and made recovery after workouts and everyday strain much more comfortable. The materials feel durable, the gel pack is flexible even when frozen, and the option to use it for both hot and cold therapy is a great bonus. If you're dealing with shoulder pain, a rotator cuff injury, or just need reliable cold therapy, I highly recommend this wrap. It's well made, easy to use, and has become an essential part of my recovery routine. Five stars!

Thaws Quickly, Misses Front Delt
I've been very active in my 4+ decades of life, and that means I'm no stranger to aches, pains, tweaks, and tears. So, I've tried out an ice pack or two, to say the least. However, this is my first time dealing with any real and lasting shoulder pain. And this is the first shoulder-specific ice pack I've ever tried. That being said, I can't say for sure if the shortcomings of this product are inherent to all shoulder ice packs, or just this one. First, it almost completely misses the front delt area. This is most unfortunate, because this is essentially the only area in which I feel shoulder pain. Now, the shoulder has a lot of moving parts and different muscles, but I think any gym rat would agree that the front delt is one of the most ache-prone areas. Bench press, shoulder press, dumbell fly, pushups, etc, etc, the front delt and, by default, rotator cuff, are always there doing the brunt of the work, or at the very least assisting the primary muscles to get the job done. I would think that addressing this area would be at or near priority #1 for someone designing a shoulder ice pack. Second, it doesnt stay cold for long, at least when I compare it to some of my "better" ice packs. I can forgive this to some extent. A shoulder ice pack has to be more flexible that others. This one is pretty flexible, but that comes at a cost. My better ice packs stay colder for much longer, but they are also quite a bit less flexible. Third, and this one might be on me, the strap that hugs around the arm seems poorly designed. It's almost as though they attached the velcro to the wrong side. Perhaps I just haven't figured this one out yet, but it really seems that way. Not a huge deal because I can just twist the strap around, but still undesireable. Also, the strap is a bit difficult to wrap around the arm to get into place. However, this could be at least partially due to my own inflexibility with a large upper body. So, 3 stars it is, which I feel is quite generous. If your shoulder pain is anywhere other than your front delt area, this might be adequate. I will likely continue my search for a satisfactory shoulder pack. In the meantime, I will probably resume going about it as I did before: by using one of my better, colder, less flexible ice packs, pressing it against my front shoulder using a makeshift apparatus out of a pair of sweatpants tied in a "knot" and held into position for 20 minutes at a time.

Excellent relief for shoulder surgery
Second total shoulder replacement and this was the gem did the job. After my husbands first shoulder replacement we used a pretty expensive device in which cold water is poured into then flows up to the area in need. This ice pack is so much easier to use, absolutely reduces inflammation and discomfort. My husband’s post op progress is way ahead of the last surgery. Excellent product.

Very good. Not perfect but short coming not a deal breaker.
Very good ice pack wrap for the shoulder. It stays very cold for over 30 min from frozen. If you let it sit out for around 5 min before use, the ice gel is far more flexible. For most uses a 20 min duration is what’s required. It stands to reason that use times would change if you use the ice in warm/hot ambient room temperatures. The value is good. For a larger person it covers the shoulder from the neck to the upper arm nicely. It stays in place if you use the large strap correctly across the chest and under the opposite arm. Not around the neck. The pack is well filled and on the heavier side. Here are my cons after multiple uses. The arm strap can be difficult to use on your own. That part could have been designed a lot better. You may need help fastening it. The ice can be so cold that it caused a redness on my shoulder over my t-shirt. So I use a thin towel in between the ice and my shirt. It would have been nice to have some cloth padding built in like the small pack I received from the hospital.
