Works great! I applied with small cheap brushes. For some reason the lid wasn't securely screwed down during shipping and half the bottle emptied in the surrounding plastic bag. Amazon took care of it. Will buy again with some rust-oleum paint to coat after the rust removal on my trailer. Worked wonders on some rusty pruning sheers that got left outside all winter.

I have an old shotgun my dad got as a teen. It hasn’t been used in close to 50 years. The barrel and internal parts were rusty. I stripped the gun down and applied a coat on all metal parts. It worked great. Most of the rust came off after 20 minutes of applying the Rust Dissolver. A few of the worst areas took a second coat but came clean of rust after the second coat. It also removed decades of dirt and crime. I can’t believe how well it worked and how easy it was to use.

Works but longer time to wait than stated on container. My first try was 15-30 minutes as stated. Results were not as desired. Tried again and left the gel on for about 2+ hours. Results were much better.

Product came delivered opened within the packaging and leaking contents into the internal plastic packaging. Sure I can salvage some of this but should I have to be doing that on what should be a brand new purchase. Aside from that, gel works well on light surface rust be will need a few extra applications on heavier rust.

Rust away. This is a great product to remove surface rust. For really thick rust, a wire brush and a few applications might be needed, but it works as advertised.

The product works as promised. The container does not have an inner seal (those annoying but necessary peel-back tabs like you find in almost every plastic jar), so nearly half of the product leaked out during transit. Made a heck of a mess plus the loss of material to do the job I needed it for. If they fix the container, I'd say go for the product, otherwise, buy it in the store so you don't lose what you paid for in transit.

I brushed it on some really rusted Hand Held Hedge trimmers. I left it on for an entire day on 2 pairs of Hedge trimmers. It took all the rust off I sharpened both pairs and they really are as good as new if not better. Fantastic Product. READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS and FOLLOW THE DETAILS.

Works great - just set and give it some time and will remove all rust
