Can I plug this with a 45w wall charger?

Pretty sure its output is capped at 25w. Anything more would be a waste. Save the 45 for plugging directly into the phones that support charging that fast.

Can you charge a phone with a normal tpu case?

Yes, I use it for my Samsung Z which has a TPU case.

Can this work in a car's 5v 2.5a usb port? i have the usb-a to c adapter. and i have a wireless android auto dongle... i want to use in car.
