I have medium-length naturally wavy hair, which I straighten most of the time. This cap keeps my hair dry (except for those little stagglers at the base of the skull that pop out if you don't have long hair. Does not make hair frizzy. The cloth inside is nice and comfortable, and the elastic is loose enough that I don't feel like I have a tight rubber band around my head. I've had it for several months, and it's just as good as when I bought it.

Your hair stays dry even if your head gets drenched with water. I believe the quality of the layers makes such a difference. The outer layer is waterproof, then a second layer I believe that forms a protective barrier, then the soft fabric like material that touches your hair, reassuring dryness and hair in place with the amount of room the cap has. Its good for women with braided hair and wigs.

Lovely, soft towel inside that helps dry my hair quicker after a shower, and waterproof on the outside in case I don't want to wet my hair. Great product!

Cabos great but isn’t waterproof. If you stand under a shower head this won’t instantly get your hair wet but over time the interior lining starts to get damp and then your hair will get wet. It does take a while to penetrate. I went a whole 15 min shower getting this wet and realized after the inside was damp, but my hair wasn’t soaked at all, but would have been had I kept going.

Truthfully it works like a charm. I have a lot of hair but this shower cap in particular makes it easier for me to manage it. Good size, with it being Terry lined it ensures the cap stays on. Good bang for your buck.

It actually wasn’t water proof. After use the inside terry cloth was moist. It’s also pretty heavy duty. The band is so tight that it leaves a red mark on my forehead.

I had only ever used plastic shower caps. I stopped using them because all it did was make my head sweat so my hair was not dry and my style was not preserved. I have long, straight, type 1A hair. I spend an hour or so curling my hair twice a week so I need my curls to last multiple days. I have spent a lot of time figuring out products and routines that support my goal. I love this cap! The inner layer is microfiber. The plastic layer is in the middle and the outer layer is satin. I don't stand with my covered head under the water. If I did the satin layer would be soaked and the cap would be heavy and laying flat on my head. This cap forms a big bubble around my hair. I use this to keep the steam and overspray from getting to my hair. My head still sweats a bit because I take really hot showers, but the inner "towel" layer absorbs the steam from my head so my hair stays dry. I sleep with my hair in a twisted bun to support maintaining the curl. I put this cap on with my hair still in the bun when I shower. I often redo the bun so it is tight to support holding my curls. When I get out I dry off and then take the cap off immediately but leave the bun. My scalp area will be a little damp from sweat, but not much. I use my hair dryer on its coolest setting to be sure my hair is dry before I take it out of the bun, and keep the bun in while I do my makeup. My curls last 3 to 4 days! This is possible due to several factors, but this cap is one of the keys. All 3 layers serve the collective purpose from the inside out and the outside in. 1 and 2 layer caps didn't allow me to shower and preserve my style. Get this!

Love this shower cap - I never knew a microfiber lined shower cap existed until I saw it recommended on a YouTube video. I finally got sick of my cheap plastic shower cap and decided to give this a try. It is amazing, so luxurious feeling and it's big enough to have my hair in a claw clip with it on which I wasn't able to do with my old one. Most importantly it kept my hair super dry and was able to fit around my whole hair and ears. 100% recommend 👌
