Max Factor Miracle Pure Foundation, Crystal Beige 33

Love this foundation. It is the only one that does not irritate my sensitive skin. Blends in easy to leave a smooth finish and a natural look. The quality is brilliant and i will be purchasing again.

I've given this 3* for it's moisturising properties and it feels nice to apply. However, it's not what I call a foundation at all. It's a lightly tinted moisturiser and I don't believe for one minute the girl in the advert is wearing this. It has no coverage to speak of, even after building up layers. I had to put a pump of another foundation over the top of it to get some coverage. If all you want is a very sheer tinted serum then go for this, if you want a foundation, look elsewhere.

I cant say enough about this foundation it is absolutely amazing. It is easy to apply, goes onto the skin smoothly and is easy to blend and build up if necessary. It does not need a primer underneath and does not clog pores or cause dryness. It leaves a lovely soft glow and is a lovely texture and makes skin look flawless. Also has SPF in it which is fantastic.

I really liked this! It is easy to apply and looks like a tinted moisturiser but with a little more coverage! It did last during the day but I wasn’t moving much so not sure how well it would hold up once my face starts burning!

I use this as a light base and it’s perfect.

I had high expectations for this but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed as it seems to stay slightly greasy/sticky on my skin.

My usual foundation was discontinued and in Lockdown, it’s been a nightmare trying to find a new one. I went back to a No7 one but think the formulation had changed and it wasn’t good. Then I tried a BB Cream and Estée Lauder Double Wear. All not suitable. This was suggested to me as very moisturising and great for a mature skin. Again, difficult to get a shade match as no samples but I struck lucky with Crystal Beige 33. It Is Wonderful. It is very lightweight, so I need some layers with concealers to cover blemishes. Otherwise it blends very nice on my skin and keeps my skin hydrated. I feel like this foundation gives me a natural glow, and I feel like it would be perfect during the summer. It behaves like a very expensive foundation and whatever I put on top of it stays on top. No slipping off by lunchtime. Even mask wearing has been better. The product feels light but at the end of the day my skin still feels “plumped up” and full of moisture.

This is an excellent foundation and skincare combination from Max Factor. It comes in a tube with a small nozzle which makes it a little difficult to squeeze out. The mechanism could do with some improvement. On the positive side, it means you only get a small amount out at a time and that's pretty much all you need. Little goes a long way, because the foundation is thick and provides surprisingly good coverage; I'd say medium to full coverage and it is buildable. In the photos and video I uploaded I only applied little amount and did not build it at all. I blended it using a foundation brush. It blends well and provides an instant healthy glow. My skin looks radiant (but not oily) and it almost seems that I'm not wearing foundation despite the coverage being so good. Keep in mind however that I don't have major skin issues at the moment. Some tiny blackheads here and there and redness (which were all covered well). I ordered crystal beige colour which is very good for my skin tone. I have pale Mediterranean skin with yellow/olive undertones. This foundation lasts on all day without smudging. I highly recommend it, not only for daily wear but also as a going out foundation.
