This stuff is great. My lawn competes with any other professionally maintained lawn. I apply it early in the early morning when there is dew on the grass and rain is expected in a couple of days. I think that is important!I do have a problem with the spreader behind my tractor. The stuff is kind of sticky by design and will periodically stop flowing. I have to keep checking it and moving it around. No stripes, but it was stressful. Other fertilizers flow smoothly.

Applied this in April and yard is dark green and flourishing. Love the item....add some dry laundry detergent, breaks surface tension of soil and gets nutrients to the roots

My favorite lawn treatment. I apply once a year in April and lawn looks great till Fall. Only thing it doesn't control is Nutsedge, but that doesn't show up until late Summer, so I just spot-spray for that.

This works great for eradicating weeds and keeping more from appearing. My yard looks full, healthy, green and no weeds anywhere. I mow it every 3-4 days because it is growing so fast. Spots of crabgrass usually pop up in late summer when I use a different crabgrass preventer in early March, so I'm interested to see how well this product works that was applied in early May. My only complaint is the bag contained large clumps of the product that I had to break apart by hand. It seems to be a common complaint among other reviews.

Crabgrass is tough, and this does work. Just don’t expect it to knock it out in a year. Stick with this stuff. It’s taken 3 years of consistent application and understanding how crabgrass reproduces. This year I have a 0 dandelion count and the relentless crabgrass is finally gone. As a fertilizer it’s super effective, but don’t apply it if you’re going to drop seed soon or they won’t germinate.

kills dandelions and clover also kills crabgrass while nourishing your lawn. Get three different types of fertilizer in one bag I must for all do it yourself fertilization

Do buy this product off Amazon. The product itself works amazingly but Amazon sells old bags of it. It was horrible and all huge solid chuncks and didn't even spread properly. I have weeds like i never even applied the because i would spread some then a clump would stop the spreading. Absolute waste of money. Pay the extra 10 bucks at home depot. Instead of buying it twice.
