Perfect size and priced right
These cans go for way more at brick-and-mortar stores, and a lot of the time all you can find are the 20 oz. cans. 20 ounces is a bit too much for one serving, and yet not enough for two. 15 ounces is perfect. Less than three minutes time to heat in the microwave and tastes great, though I personally prefer to add a dash of garlic salt to boost the flavor a bit. As at least one other reviewer stated, I do believe there used to be more meat content, but I think it's actually better now. I'm not really a fan of super meaty stew. I highly recommend buying this, especially if you're on a budget like myself.

The COVID & Tariff Effect
I love this stuff - 70 years I have eaten this. BUT ... Since COVID and tariffs have arrived, I sense that the formulas and sources of the components used has changed. And not for the better. Most recently, the potatoes are too firm and taste terrible. There seems to be more gravy and less solid content. I will continue to consume the product but I sure do wish they would revert to their old formulas.

Dinty Moore beef stew
Dainty Moore beef stew is my favorite stew. I love all the carrots and potatoes that get loaded into the broth. Lots of beef as well. This is great to eat on its own or with rice or another side.

The best product for the zombie apocalypse
It's delicious. It's a bit salty, but the portion size is just right, and it's a great meal when eaten with rice. It has a can opener so you can open it without any tools, and if you're in a hurry, you don't need to microwave it. But it tastes even better when heated. Meat + the right amount + a little salt + long-term storage = this product. If you're packing for a shelter, definitely pack this. I even have some in my tiny room. When the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll have a few more weeks to live. But I might die of boredom before then because I can't play games.
