Dandadan, Vol. 1: Volume 1

Great, amazing art

Creating a Sci-Fi/ Japanese Folklore/ RomCom crossover to hilarious effect in differing story arcs might seem an improbable premise, but, it works brilliantly. Throwing in a MacGuffin of stolen sexual organs by aliens or vengeful spirts sets up some wonderful scenarios to maximum comedic effect! The alarming sexual threat is quickly set aside and countered by action sequences. Plenty of opportunities for gratuitous fan service are never materialised. The RomCom element is perhaps the best of all, being driven in a genuinely awkward teenage fashion with bickering to cherish. Even the drawn body language is hilariously spot on! That it has spawned an Anime is no surprise! The addition of colour and movement using film techniques adds amazing depth to a gorgeously drawn Manga. You can take as read, my review applies to the entire series as it is unflagging throughout and with a heart of gold at its centre!

New. Not seconds as far as I can see. Good printing. Straight page cuts no folds in pages. Beware though. If you order more than 1 amazon put them in same envelope and may get markd, scratched, creased or even bent to go into letterbox. Happened to me. Jammed in good n proper. Not on this occasion though so happy.

Got this manga after looking about for a new one and jeez, this is really good and id highly recommend it! The story and art style is very nice and engaging. Not five stars since the first page came ripped in the middle SOMEHOW!? Other then that, the books in very good condition.

Gift

This manga got an anime series that thrown the entire story into the spotlight among the masses the manga is better in my opinion but the anime does fulfil the manga well so you can watch and read side by side perfectly seeing what bits are added in the anime and what bits is not in the anime which does not affect the story too much just how you understand the characters a little which is why the manga is better.

I really enjoyed this manga it was fast paced, it was funny at times and the action was on point! A lot happened in the first volume which I liked! The aliens calling genitalia " banana organs " had me laughing so hard! It's so random but I loved it 4/5 stars!

Great read for kids

Great manga, good drawing, good story, is a fun manga to read, and the anime looks good too. Go read it!

This manga centers on two very different high schoolers: tough redhead Momo Ayase who believes in ghosts and quiet friendless “Okarun” who believes in aliens. After their surprise meeting turns into a fight with each saying their myths don’t exist, they make a bet to prove each other wrong. A shocking outcome happens that not only proves both aliens and ghosts are real, but Okarun’s experience gives him ghastly ghost powers. Momo has no choice but to ask her “very” young-looking grandma for her spirit expertise to help get Okarun’s missing organ, and it involves confronting the Turbo Granny spirit again. It is, no doubt, a swift and engrossing manga that won me over from the first page. There’s a lot of exhilarating turns in the story that blends horror and fantasy, opposites attracting and plenty of ghost action. Momo and Okarun’s interactions also give us a lot of humorous moments and their chemistry is very fun to see. I can’t wait to see how the duo will deal with the supernatural and their relationship. Another binge-worthy manga, and a great read to start the new year. A (100%/Outstanding)

Got into this series before the anime and I’m glad I did. There’s something for everyone: comedy, romance, action. Even if you’ve watched the anime, it’s a nice piece to remind you of how peak it is.

Ótima experiência. Caótico e engraçado na medida certa. É uma história de terror, de romance, de comédia e até de drama. E o autor consegue a proeza de não pesar a mão em nada. Além de ser um desenhista de dar raiva de tão bom. Adorei

Très bien
