I want to supplement power to the charging station, instead of relying on the ps5. What are the power supply requirements for the station itself?

I'm not sure I know the capacity, but I have supplemented charging directly from the console to my charging station and it's sweet. All controls are being charged from the station without any hassle. I sometimes connect my phone after the controllers are fully charged.

How long does a charge last for the controller?

The same amount of charge u will get wired is the same amount of charge u will get from the stand if u let it fully charge. Not to mention the wireless is a lot better bc it is safer for the kids. We love all aspects of it. There’s an LED light on the stand that will let u know when it’s fully charged too. It starts red then goes green when done.

My ps5 overheats a lot until intake it apart and clean it, will this help it?

100% I played in a 85+ degree room with the cooler on and it barely even felt hot much less near overheating, just make sure to put it on blast if it’s hot in your room. If that doesn’t work it might be an issue with the ps5 itself.

If I wanted to close it inside a cabinet would it still be able to cool down or would it over heat?

I wouldn’t recommend doing that but this base has two cooling fans and all the heated air will be blown from the bottom of the ps5 console.
