Question 1

Is the regulator built in?

Accepted Answer

Matthew,Thank you for your inquiry, the OTS Guardian Full Face mask comes with a second stage regulator built in to the unit. A first stage regulator would be required to use the mask.I hope that this answers your question and if we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.Thank you for your interest in our products.Kevin LHouse of Scuba

Question 2

Can these be set up for rebreather application, nitrox, and tri-mix?

Accepted Answer

Hi JeffThank you for your inquiry, the OTS mask can certainly be used with mixed gas and indeed with certain re-breathers. Two companies, 'Silent Diving' and 'Golum Gear' have adapters for the mask to work with certain re-breathers. If you have a certain re-breather in mind then please email me and I will try to arrange for the parts required for the adaptation.I hope that this answers your question and if we can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.Thank you for your interest in our products.Kevin LHouseofScuba858.581.2800

Question 4

I'd have to ask, Does the sides of the mask project an image on the front of the mask? For those that have had masks like this, they tend to do that.

Accepted Answer

I've never had that happen, but it may just be the optics of my own eyesight. I have over 30 years of dive experience, and one of my first masks was a U.S. Divers tri-view mask. that mask tended to project an image, but it was tempered glass. the OTS uses a glass/polymer blend which has a different refractive index, and so it doesn't bend the light as you would expect from tempered glass
