I have had hot glue guns in the past, but have been afraid to allow my under 12 year old grandchildren to use them. I searched and read reviews and finally decided to purchase this warm glue gun. Great product. It warmed up pretty quickly and stayed warm throughout its use. The kids enjoyed being ale to glue with it and not have to worry abut getting burned - yes, the glue is rather warm when it leaves the gun and the tip is hot, but the burn issue is minimized. The only fault I find is that the "stand" part of the handle is rathe tippy - for more safety, I would recommend getting a glue gun stand. A draw back is the fact that they are corded so that limits the range of use.

Definitely an answer to and crafters wishes! I have burned my finger so many times on the old fashioned hot glue gun !! Cool glue gin surely saved my fingers! I was using a sheer ribbon to glue onto a picture frame and was able to securely push it down while the glue dried without even any warmth touching my skin! Strong enough to hold ribbon to a metal picture frame I can’t wait to use it on more projects. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a burning hot dangerous glue gun ever again! I’m not affiliated with this company or manufacturer!! I just really love the item!

My 3 year old is obsessed with hot-glueing carboard and paper lately. It was too nerve-wracking for me even though he was super careful, because he really wanted to do it alone. They didn't have these when I was little so I was really surprised when I saw that this doesn't get hot. This is perfect for crafts that are temporary or just for fun. I wouldn't recommend this for crafts that you want to last because the glue is not as high quality. It is a little brittle. But it is perfect for little hands. He loves it!

Gave this little glue gun a tremendous workout over a couple of days, using all of the included glue sticks. Would have liked for the glue to dry clearer and less yellow-ish, but otherwise it is decent and was a good purchase. Liked the gun's small size to reach into small spaces and the warm-not-hot temperature didn't harm fingers or glued elements. Planning to buy more glue sticks for it, hopefully ones that are a little more clear.

I bought this glue gun for my 11 year old niece. She loves doing crafts with me and always want to use a hot glue gun. But I was never comfortable with her using mine so when I hear about this one I thought I would give it a try. She has only used it a couple of times and has had no issue. I could put the glue directly on my hand and not burn myself, but still have the hold needed for anything she would make. I don't think it would hold up for major crafts projects but for the little things that she does its great. Thanks to KraftsbyKateyln for the suggestion.

it said low temperature glue, but when I got it, it felt like room temprature glue. Being the curious type I set out to find the boundaries of this mythical adhesive. I tried gluing a couple thermometers together so I could see if it got really hot or cold, I figured I added a 100 degrees to the measuring limits of this handy tool. So that was a great sucess and I'm waiting for a 240 degree day to test it out. Then I though I'd like some big ice cubes, lets glue some together. major failure - the ice cubes actually got smaller - the more I glued them. I glued a whole ice cube tray worth of cubes (must of been like 20 or so) and all I got was a glass of water with some dried glue stuck to the bottom of the glass. so you really have to know the laws of thermodynamics to get the best use out of this stuff. I don't have no law degree so I don't know nothing about them laws of thermodynamics. for me its kind of hit or miss. it should say on the package something about that, like "works best if you have a law degree or watch lawyer shows on Satan's Dreambox" just so's the average joe or jane knows what there gettin into here. If you glue regular stuff it works good, just don't glue ice cream or dry ice, cause that don't work neither.

I was skeptical about a glue gun being cool to touch but I’m a believer now! No more burnt fingers is a huge deal to me! It holds up just as well as the hot glue. It’s a little small but great for small projects! I’m very happy with my purchase!

The triggers are not made well and 2 of my 11 guns have broken with in a couple of months of using. Positive: I don't have to hover. The kids can work independently and not get burned. ( second grade - fifth grades) The yellow bumper is great! I'd love to add the yellow bumpers to the nozzles of hotter guns.
