IMy patches have not yet required washing.. However, I would wash as needed by hand in a gentle detergent. Allow to air dry.

Are these microwave safe? I’d like to warm it up but I’m not sure if the ring on the side is microwave safe

I wore these patches while I was recovering from Bell’s Palsy and my right eye would not close completely. The patches are small and light weight and well made. I wouldn’t put these patches in a microwave. If you want to warm them up I suggest using a blow dryer while holding your fingers over the metal ring.

Are these laytex free?

The description only says that these eye patches are cotton and polyester. I suppose the only way to find out for certain is to write or call the company. I thought these patches were very comfortable and light weigh. I was very satisfied with this purchase.
