I am going to update this as I progress. I am 39 weeks and 2 days with my 5th baby. I've been taking Birth Prep since week 34, as my midwife suggested. I have had challenging and long labors with my last two babies. I am hoping for an easier one with baby 5. I will say these pills are making me feel awful. I hope they work during labor and this baby comes out easy. I am on my second bottle and after taking the pills an hour later I have intense menstral like cramping and strong nausea that lasts for several hours. It's miserable. I've never experienced this before and it happens like clock work after I take my pills. I'm taking two in the morning and two at night. This has not happened until the last two weeks. I hope it's shaving time off. I will update after I give birth to let you know how my labor went!! Ok *UPDATE* These pills are amazing and I'm so glad I took them even though they made me feel awful for weeks!!! It helps you SO MUCH in labor. I will say they don't make you pop early but they help your cervix be ready and more importantly they help TONE YOUR UTERUS! I just gave birth at 42 weeks. This is my 5th baby, homebirth/natural birth. This is the first baby I took these with after having 63, 24 hour long miserable labors. With this one I had to drink Caster oil which I never have done before, I've never done any interventions before but I got diagnosed with late on set polyhydramminos. At 42 weeks my fluid levels were dangerously high and we needed to get he baby out quickly. I did not want to be risked out of care and Homebirth. These pills made my contractions totally bearable until the end. It made my cervix soft and ready and my uterus was so strong and toned I was able to work with my contractions in a way I never have been able to before! It was incredible how ready my body was for birth and I truly believe that's what these pills do, and in turn when your labor starts everything is ready to go, primed and toned! The weeks of cramping I personally experienced was doing a good work at exercising my body for labor. It was worth that discomfort!!! I was at a high risk for post partum hemorrhage because of my condition and I'm glad I'd been taking these pills to strengthen my uterus and birthing everything! After having 4 difficult labors with all my other children, this one was a dream. It was so different am manageable!!! I am so thankful I took these and if I ever have any more kids I will take these every time!!!

I took one pill daily starting at 34 weeks (then 2 daily at 35-37 weeks and the alternated 3 every other day and 2 pills on the other days from 38 weeks on). I never had any adverse side effects and did fairly extensive research in the ingredients since I know there are a couple of ingredients that are deemed questionable with safety. From what I understand, the amount of those ingredients in this formula is totally safe as long as you don’t take too much. My labor was effective and fast. I absolutely felt like my uterus was toned and ready for this birth. This was my 3rd baby and 2nd vaginal birth, and I also ate dates and drank red raspberry leaf tea and did evening primrose oil sparingly, so I don’t know how much credit to give to this formula alone, but I labored for about 5 hours total and only had about an hour and a half of really intense labor. Contractions were easily manageable until I dilated to an 8, at which point they really picked up, but by then it was only another hour until my baby was out! Anyway, it was worth trying for me and I did have a great labor experience.

This is anecdotal and was my personal experience but I figured it’s worth sharing. This stuff freaking worked for me! I took this at suggestion of my midwife along with primrose capsules for 4 weeks leading up to my due date. I had lots of prodromal labor for weeks then Baby came only three days past my due date. I was in “active labor” for just THREE HOURS!! Completely different experience from my first. Hope this helps someone else out there! My first child was I induced a few days early due to leak in water. Second child I use 5W and had a fast labor, but very uncomfortable. Third child I decided to try Dr.Christopher's prenatal formula since it was easy to order on Amazon. I must say, I credit my fast and easy labor to this herbal prep. The only thing that was frustrating, was the early on-and-off labor contractions (a little stronger than the Braxton hicks I had for several weeks) that came 3 days before birth, creating excitement and the disappointment when nothing happened. My second came the day i started having serious contractions. Well, the few days of frustration was worth it because I checked into the hospital 6:40, pretty comfortable with building contractions 7 min apart. Checked by a nurse and was dilated to 5cm. I had been 2/3 cm for two weeks 75/80% effaced. An hour and a half later, kneeling comfortably on a towel in the shower, leaning over a labor ball with my husband holding a shower head spraying hot water on my lower back, I was surprised to learn I was dilated to an 8!!! I was completely shocked because i was still comfortable in the labor.. Chatting with the nurse an my husband. I decided to labor in the shower maybe 20-30 more minutes before deciding to dry off so I wouldn't be cold during the pushing stage. Dried off, got to the bed, on hands and knees for 2 contractions and told the nurse I felt baby coming! Turned on my side, dr checked me I had a little lip, broke my water, was complete and 3 pushes later it was over!! 9:40 (3hours total) we had our 3rd baby!! I seriously felt immediately after that I could have another if i only had 30 minutes of "intense" labor. Didn't feel the "labor pains" until was on the bed ready to push! I have recommended this to my friends with normal low-risk pregnancies, and would recommend to all moms wanting to have a better, shorter labor!! Had my son on his due date exactly 40 weeks. I don't think this will induce you, just strengthen uterus and make it all around easier. I took as directed, maybe skipped a few days accidentally early on. Plan to use this with my next baby!! Wouldn't have a 4th without this herb!!

love the quality ingredients and herbs inside! i never noticed a taste while taking them. i took during my first pregnancy and was able to have a home birth! definitely recommend following the regiment on the bottle to get your body ready!

The name of this seems to change every time I order it, but it is still the same product. I have no way of knowing if it helps or not as I have always taken it. But my beautiful friend and midwife of many years who recently passed away and was a very very experienced midwife said she noticed that the women who take it tend to not go over the date as much (especially with first timers) and have faster labors. My first baby was six hours, second was one and a half hours long, third baby was four hours but was also posterior so this obviously took longer, my fourth babies labor was three hours, my fifth baby was three hours but only because my friend/midwife was two and a half hours away so I got into a warm tub and did my best to hold back labor (I was determined to wait, my friend was battling breast cancer and we both new this would be her last birth so I really wanted her there) so I relaxed but as soon as she walked in and set up, I pushed out a baby. My sixth baby was, unfortunately a stillbirth due to a twisted cord, she quit kicking me one day at 32 weeks, my midwife and I went to the hospital to view an ultrasound and found her heart had stopped and the cord appeared to be twisted around her ankle. The doc at the hospital gave me two weeks to go into labor without intervening. I still had Dr. Christopher's blend in the cupboard so I started taking them, my labor only went on about an hour. I was very very grateful to get that over quickly, as I wasn't psychologically up to a long labor. I am now 33 weeks with a number seven (and last) and looking for a new bottle- the name has changed again, of course. It's possible that I have quick labors naturally but considering the herbal mix and my midwife's experiences comparing clients who took it vs. those who didn't, I think it's a good idea to take it. I also want to add that with the exception of my stillborn baby girl in the hospital, these were all home births with no complications. I have never had any type of tear. And in all cases have had such a small amount of bleeding that the midwives and/or docs and nurses have commented on that lack of bleeding every time.

Okay so this is my second time using this product so I will be updating this post within the next month or so. I am now 34 weeks pregnant with my eight child. My last little one I discovered this product. I noticed they ha e lowered the dose which is fine with me because I never took more than the two pills daily and they were over the top effective. When having my last baby I was dilated to nine with absolutely NO PAIN AT ALL. Had I not personally experienced this I would NEVER believe it to be possible!!! Still two years later and I am still in shock at the fact that I could become that dilated and not feel any type of pain or discomfort. I went to the doctor because my water broke and at this time I was having no noticeable contractions but I was dilated to four. I dilated to nine without any pain whatsoever. I was a very stretchy nine I might add so when I did stand up the gravitation did the rest and my first contraction that offered any discomfort kicked in and it was about fifteen to twenty minutes later that our little one was born. The only thing I did differently was take this herbal supplement and again I never took more than two a day. I read someone’s review where they were saying they had called the company to find out why the dose was reduced. All I can say to that is it only took two a day to help me bring in a beautiful healthy baby without any complications and by far the easiest out of all my seven births at that point. My daughter will be two in July and she is a very happy healthy and over the top smart little stinker. No health issues at all. Very grateful for this product!!! I used these everyday the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy, uping the dose every week, till I was at 6 capsules per day in my last week. I am 20 years old, with my first birth, I had a natural home, water birth and it was amazing! I had such a good experience. Mild Contractions started around 8pm. I knew I was for sure in labor by about 11pm, and I gave birth at 5am. A total of 9 hours, but I would count it as more of a 6 hour labor. For being a first time mom, I was expecting to have more like a 12-24 hour labor. Labor was very manageable and not too hard, up until the last hour or 2. Healthy baby came out in the tub, with no complications, and no tearing! I’m not sure if it was these capsules that helped my body, but I would not be surprised! My midwife recommended I take these. After my birth, She told me that if she didn’t know that this was my first birth, she would have thought I’d done this before and that my body seemed to know what it was doing, and acted like it’s given birth before. I would totally recommend these capsules! Take them religiously.
