Leatt Neck Brace 5.5

Needed something for riding MTB after a three level cervical fusion caused an unwanted retirement from dualsport riding. Might provide a false sense of security, but it is comfortable, fits great without interference, looks dorky (who cares) and seems well made thus far. Also use it when buddies offer rides in their UTVs, and with an actual motorsports helmet the security is even more evident. So for the price, it makes for much more enjoyable trips out in the dirt. Based on personal experience, this is something EVERY Motorsport rider or driver should use as a preventative measure vs as a crutch to get back on the trail after an injury.

Excellent product, light and adjustable. I used it for a long trip riding 5-6 hours a day for seven days and totally helpful and confortable. 100% recommended.

I use this neck brace for downhill mountain biking. Good fit and works perfectly.

fortunately have not had a chance to test how well it works, but wore it while in whistler for a couple of days and I barely noticed it was there other occasionally feeling it push on the back of my helmet while looking up on really steep trails. As advertised there are notches to keep it off your collarbone so this will not injury your collarbone as some reviews suggest.

Arrived on time and product is genuine. I wish all the colors were the same price, I wanted the white to match my helmet, but for $220 I could not pass up on the black and green. Everywhere else, the 5.5 brace is over $400. Guess I'll vinyl wrap it if I want to change the color scheme, lol.

This worked out perfectly for my son! We got a great price and then he was able to also purchase the chest protector that goes with it. He loves how low profile this neck brace is and it does not reduce his movement.

Well...it is the Leatt 5.5 neck protector. Not much to say. Watch videos, read reviews and decide if you want to wear one. For what it is I find it very expensive but the price here was the lowest I could find and I wanted one.
