Hearkent Atomic Talking Watch with Large Numbers Self-Setting for Men Women

Love this watch. The second one I own. However strap clasp broke after short time. The first one lasted ages and still wearing.

I'm aware that other buyers have had various problems with this watch, but my 96 year old mum loves it. The thick hands mean that even with her macular degeneration she can still just about read the time. In addition to that she's quickly picked up which button to press to hear the time as well, from the in-built voice, which is a nice clear English male voice with neutral accent.No problems with those times not matching.It did take a couple of attempts to get the correct time into the watch straight out of the box, making sure there was good line of sight with the time signal, but the instruction leaflet was clear about how to achieve this.Look closely and it's obvious this isn't a "quality" piece of jewellery, but it's a pleasant goldie-looking colour and the pink leather strap is fine. The watch does what it's meant to doOverall we are very happy with the watch!

I bought this watch for my mum for Christmas last year. She's only worn it a few times as she keeps it for when she goes out on her own & doesn't have anyone she can ask for the time. But a couple of weeks ago the "talk" button snapped off & it won't go back on so she's absolutely gutted as she loved it. A waste of money it would seem & not great quality.

Did not work. No signal

Got this for my mum who has macular degeneration. She has a very small wrist but fits perfectly, loves the clear voice though perhaps could be a bit louder, and because of the beautiful clear display she can actually see the time, but likes to hear it too to make sure she has seen it right. Good for her independence . Nice strap and so far has maintained accuracy and with clocks going forward today will update itself - great product.

The voice is aggressive and irritating

Bought for my elderly mum. She absolutely loves it. Her sight is not great so the talking time button is perfect. Looks so nice on her wrist. A great purchase
