Does the head rest stay in place while it is reclined or does it push forward into upright position while reclined?

Barely. I have to basically keep my body weight down for it to stay reclined. I almost always wake up sitting back up. Good chair though

Does the chair make noises when you recline or unrecline? If yes, how noisy is the chair?

We've had this chair for around a year and a half and I'm ready to just throw it out. It squeaks when you rock. It squeaks when you get up. Putting the foot rest up sounds like a gun going off and it's a pain to get down. And all this noise is from getting predominantly used by my 15 year old daughter that might way 110 lbs.

does it recline back far enough to sleep on it?
