I bought it to get it to use more than one USB device with my PlayStation 3 for Rock Band and it worked! I recommend it. My new computer came with only one USB port so I wanted a small multiport USB to expand the capabilities. THis fits the role perfectly. Nicely compact and quadruples my computers capability

I have a Mac Mini and the one one only comes with 2 USB ports on the back ... which is not nearly enough! I have dongles from a keyboard and mouse, plus external drives, etc. This gives me enough space to plug in the things I need. It was inexpensive, and plug-and-play. Great!

I love this. I use it for my surface book. So far I have had no issues with it. The only reason I’m giving it four stars and not five is because the usb that plugs into the computer has this little nub on it. It hold the wire in place when not being used. But when using it it’s on the bottom portion of the plug, if you have a very thin keyboard like mine, it makes the keyboard lift up and crooked, which made me batty. It’s a design flaw, since the only use it has it to keep the wire in place when not in use, it could have been placed on the top side of plug. I snipped it off and it still works fine as it’s just a piece of plastic, but I’m sure that voids any type of warranty if I ever need one.

One USB port turned into 4. I am running an external keyboard (I type better on them), an external mouse (much more control for Visio and other things), my phone charger, and my Altec Lansing baby boom box (for music) off of a single PC USB port through this device. No negative impact on performance of anything. Perfect. Maybe I should have got one with more ports? This just WORKS! That's what you want it to do.

My new laptop came with only one USB port. The laptop runs very hot which means I had to get a cooling pad and this used the one and only USB port. There was only one extra USB port on the cooling pad which I used for my computer's mouse. As such, I could not plug in a thumb drive or any other external drive. This has worked great and solved my issue.

使い始めて間もないので、耐久性は評価出来ませんが、本商品の全ポート問題無く使えました。 本商品をUSB3.xx、USB2.0に挿してキーボード、マウス、USB-DACなどを試してみました。 本商品をUSB-DAC、パソコンの音飛び、音切れ、ノイズ等の対策に考えて購入しましたが、私の環境では改善させることは出来ませんでした。同じ問題を抱えている方の 参考になればと思います。 startechさんの商品は、他にもケーブルなどを4商品ほど使っていますが、本商品を含め問題があったことが無いので耐久性も期待できるのではと考えています。 今のところちゃんと使えています。

Nice, obviously manu peopel now want USB3, but many things really don't need it and this is nice because it is so small. I would prefer it if the little cable were detachable so it can have a longer lead - althoug an extension is of course feasible. I use this as a little extension on my oscilloscope so I can have memory sticks and wifi dongles and a mouse which I prefer to touch-screen, all at the same time and it works great for that and if I want I can plug in a keyboard - so very small, and just right. If I were still travelling with work I would throw one of these in my laptop bag without hesitation.

100% Kernschrott. Leider kann man das nicht anders schreiben, denn nach und nach fallen einzelne Ports aus... das ist großer Mist... geht Retoure. Ich kann nur dringend von dem Produkt abraten!
