Doorbell.
Good and clear view and can speak to visitors before opening the door. Needs charging but if you do it at least once a week before it runs out it’s much better as it can take a few hours for a full charge. Easy to take off and replace after charging up.

Worth the money for safety!
Very easy to set up and use. Now I can communicate with the delivery person when we are not around. So many good options when it comes to notifications to say who is outside our house. Easy to connect with the app and worth the money. Brilliant motion detection and fits well in our wall with the angled frame that comes with it now I feel secure.

Nest Doorbell Camera
Installation with the wedge was simple, doorbell camera works extremely well and has replaced my Ring doorbell camera, my observations are that the Google camera has faster motion detection than the Ring camera and the picture is also much better, however I find that the Ring camera had much better battery life, like for like use has me charging the Google camera every 3 weeks whilst the Ring camera was in need of a charge every 5 or 6 weeks. Motion zones are easy to set up and also receiving alerts only within the zones are easily achieved. Ring are generally cheaper although my opinion is that the Google doorbell looks better. Reason for changing from Ring was the lack of support for Google Home and assistant, which I find better than Alexa but I would say they are both very good Doorbell cameras, the subscription for one camera is also £1 a month cheaper with ring although £3 aonth cheaper with Google if you have multiple cameras, I'd therefore suggest that the main choice comes down to which smart home assistant you wish to use

Google smart home? Get one! *Read Review*
- Mounting. Super easy to mount with the provided template! Don't worry if at a later date you decide you need to use the provided wedge to give you that needed tilt the holes are extraly the same as the fixing plate and once locked into place it's super secure! - Setup. The Google home app literally talks you through everything and is super easy to follow! All you need is the home app and scan the QR code on the back of the camera and done! Grate field of view and very good quality which I was a little sceptical about as the specs where not brilliant but it's as good as my 5MP CCTV system! - App settings. Plenty of separate settings you can adjust such as for better battery life or better quality, linger recording ect, even chimes with existing Google speakers! - Additional You can wire to the mains the cables are provided but unfortunately our house has never had a doorbell so we don't have this option but after researching this device for a while even at maximum use it'd last us a month on a full charge and that's with alot of use that's more than we'd probably use but where more than happy with that as it charges relatively quickly. -phone support Within a few seconds of the button being clicked all the speakers are ringing to a chime you choose (p.s they have event ones like Halloween) the notification is on your phone with live video footage straight from your notifications! (Android device here) Would I recommend? Yes for a Google eco system and android phones. (Unsure on iOS) Would I recommend for Alexa? Probably not as ring will be alot more optimised for the device. - Draw backs? It is expensive, so I'd suggest waiting for the sales! Then it's a bargain!

Really (not) impressed.
Edit after 9+ months of use. It’s pretty rubbish now. 99 times out of 100 I’m unable to see the video feed through the app which completely defeats the purpose. I can’t answer the bell, I can’t see the feed, and it takes an age to load recordings. Factory resets haven’t helped. Issues persist across android and iOS devices. I’m going to returning it as it isn’t fit for purpose. Really happy with the nest doorbell. I’ve had two each of the Ring and Ring 2, and I had to return all of them for various issues. Poe battery life awful image quality, unreliable wifi etc. not had any of these issues with the Nest bell. Yes, it’s more expensive than a a Ring, but you also don’t have to pay a monthly fee to use it to its full potential. I can’t compare it to other devices such as blink and Eufy, but if you’re unsure about which decide to spring for, you won’t be disappointed with the Nest. 16 months of use update: amazingly the Nest doorbell continues to get worse and worse. The issues noted at the 9 month mark have not improved at all, if anything they are worse. New issues, and these are big ones, are live stream and recording quality. I am unable to make my own cars registration number out via the camera live stream when the car is parked 10 feet from the doorbell in good lighting. Many have taken to forums and asking Google themselves why the sudden reduction in live stream quality, and Google have stated that a software update has fixed the issue. It has not. Google have also claimed that new software will initially load the live stream at a lower quality to establish a good connection, before sending a higher resolution stream. Again, this is not true. The stream, even after 4 or 5 minutes of time to settle in, will not improve. Recording are slightly better quality, but still not good enough to make out my cars number plate. Flickering and noise is terrible. Google will, of course, blame my internet setup, wireless setup, conditions, camera placement, and every other thing before admitting the fault is with their software or hardware. Full disclosure. I have a 1.2gbps symmetrical fibre optic connection, which a top of the line router and WiFi system. I am a qualified network and security engineer by trade. My setup is not the issue.

Great quality when it worked, but major flaws killed it
This Google Nest Doorbell was honestly brilliant while it actually worked, the picture quality and features were fantastic, but it sadly let me down badly in the end. First thing to know — even though this is a wired model, it does NOT ring the doorbell itself. You have to buy and use the separate indoor chime unit, it will not make a sound on its own. Even with the chime connected, there was always a noticeable delay between someone pressing the button and the sound going off, because everything runs through your Wi‑Fi connection. It works, but it is not instant like a traditional doorbell. The biggest and fatal problem happened after about a month. Even though it was wired in permanently and supposed to be powered constantly, the wiring only works to charge the internal battery inside the unit. It does not run directly off the mains power. After a while, it simply stopped charging the battery at all. It just died completely. To make matters worse, there is no way to remove or change the battery. You cannot take it out and charge it separately or swap it. It is sealed inside, and it must be powered by the wires 24/7. Once the charging system fails, the whole unit is useless and you cannot fix it. I had no choice but to return it. If you are happy to buy the extra chime, and you are lucky enough that the charging works forever, it is a lovely device. But for me, relying on internal batteries that you cannot replace, even when wired, is a terrible design flaw. I would not risk buying this again.

Best video doorbell going
This is the fifth video doorbell I have tried and it is by far the best I did not want to spend this much at first but it is absolutely worth it It connects to a 5GHz network which is far more stable and both video and audio are crystal clear You can choose fun doorbell sounds that play through all your Google Home speakers and the video instantly casts to your Chromecast or Google display The build quality and mounting bracket are excellent I have not needed a subscription yet as it still records events and can detect animals deliveries and more The standout feature is facial recognition which can identify people from your Google Photos Google has smashed it with this doorbell it is ace Setup was the easiest of any I have used and took less than five minutes.

Great Wireless Doorbell with Excellent Video Quality
I recently installed the Google GWX3T Nest Doorbell (Battery) and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. The wireless setup was incredibly easy, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my home security. The 960p video quality is crystal clear, allowing me to see who’s at my door at any time, day or night. The battery life is solid, and it fits perfectly into my smart home ecosystem, working seamlessly with Google Assistant. One of the standout features is the intelligent alerts, which help distinguish between people, packages, and animals, making it super convenient to stay informed. The two-way audio is also clear, which has been useful for speaking to delivery drivers when I'm not home. The only thing to note is that if you want to take advantage of facial recognition features, you will need to subscribe to a premium service (Nest Aware). While the doorbell works wonderfully without it, the added benefit of recognizing familiar faces is a premium feature that comes at an additional cost. Overall, this is an excellent wireless doorbell, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use smart doorbell with great video quality and features. It offers peace of mind and convenience all in one!

Enda dörrklockan man behöver

Great Video Doorbell
Easy to install, seamless integration with the Google Home ecosystem. Can also be used as a security camera, but it drains the battery much faster. I am using it exclusively as a video doorbell.
