I’m really happy with this Mod Podge Super Thick Gloss. It goes on smoothly and the thicker consistency helps give projects a nice coated look without needing a lot of layers. Once dry, it leaves a great glossy finish that really makes colors stand out. I used it on craft projects and it worked well for sealing and adding shine. Drying time was reasonable, and the final result looked clean and professional. Would definitely buy again.

Mod Podge worked great for sealing my polymer clay magnets and gave them a clean, finished look. I applied it with a paintbrush, and it went on smoothly without streaking or bubbles. I use this mod podge for diamond coasters. It doesn’t dull the shine and it’s easy to use. I’ll do one or two coats. Just make sure to wash the brush after use because it will harden from the product, I had to get a new brush so learn from my mistake :)

Best thing to use on diamond puzzles

I use this to glaze my acrylic paintings. I have tried several other options, including [[ASIN: B000WWM6QM DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Glaze]] and [[ASIN: Mod Podge Waterbase Sealer, Glue & Decoupage Finish, Gloss]]. In my experience, Mod Podge Super Thick Gloss is better at self leveling and achieves a more transparent, liquid-like finish after it fully cures. If you want the best liquid glossy look, you should, of course, use epoxy resin coating, but that is a much more involved and expensive option. This product achieves very good results with minimal effort and if there are any imperfections, it is easy to fix with a thin second coat. It takes only a few hours to set, but takes several days to cure at room temperature and low humidity. I do use this product a lot and it's always difficult to get the last bit out of the plastic jar. I wish it was available in a 16 or 32oz squeeze bottle.

I started diamond painting in 2023 when I retired. Watched a lot of videos about what to do with a finished project. Many of my finished projects are hung without frames and that means, in my mind, that they could need cleaning occasionally. I had already used Mod Podge on finished jigsaw puzzles so I knew how well it holds up, even after years displayed in my home. I got this type, Super Thick Gloss, for my diamond paintings and am on my second bottle. Mind you, the first bottle lasted a long time and covered some good sizes projects. The product works great. Easy to apply and dries crystal clear. Not the cheapest but certainly worth the cost.

This stuff works great! Dries clear and shiny. Looks professional and very durable. I use it mainly doing decoupage and absolutely love it. I now want to Mod Podge everything in the house. Will buy again.The jar is nicely sealed so there was no leakage. Amazing quality… buy it!

you seriously need to do your homework on this product. Look up how to use it!! tips and suggestions on its use and what mediums to use the product on! Many of the people in my journaling groups do not use it and do not recommend it. I wanted to see my for myself and I have not had good success with it!! I have had good luck and I have had major failures with it. This product cannot get too warm or too cold. If it thickens up too much you can add a tiny bit of water. Results will vary and you need only a super thin layer. I have stopped using mod podge because the results are unsatisfactory seven out of 10 times . It makes a great glue!I can’t say that it is the product it is just not suitable for my needs and crafting

Ursprünglich gedacht als Kleber für Serviettentechnik, Décopatch etc. ist Mod Podge nun mein go-to Kleber wenn ich irgendetwas grossflächiges zusammenkleben, bekleben, versiegeln etc. möchte. Die Objekte die ich vor über 15 Jahren mit Mod Podge dekoriert habe sehen immer noch so schön aus wie am ersten Tag, genauso farbintensiv, glänzend und keine Risse! Ich habe mehrere deutsche Marken ausprobiert, aber allesamt waren einfach enttäuschend und das Resultat sah bei weitem nicht so gut aus.Seit einiger Zeit gibt es ja viele neue Sorten von Mod Podge, für Papier, Outdoor, Stoff, in Farbe, mit Glitzer etc.Ich habe über die Jahre alle Sorten ausprobiert und vom Verarbeiten sind sie alle gleich einfach: Aufschrauben und mit einem Pinsel, Schwamm oder Schwammpinsel eine Schicht auftragen, trocknen lassen (ca. 30 Minuten je nach Sorte), danach noch eine zweite Schicht auftragen und fertig! Als Ergebnis hat man dann je nach gewählter Sorte ein tolles Oberflächenfinish was nicht sehr anfällig ist gegen Kratzer und Feuchtigkeit und auch nach vielen Jahren schön aussieht.Mod Podge eignet sich für fast alle Oberflächen: Papier, Karton, Holz, Glas, Kunststoff, Stein, Porzellan etc. Auch für Stoff, Leder und andere flexible Materialien ist Mod Podge geeignet, dort sollte man allerdings auf eine Mod Podge Sorte zurückgreifen die "Bewegung" auch mitmacht, damit es dann keine Risse gibt.Der glänzende Mod Podge ist ein Klassiker den es schon seit meiner Kindheit gibt. Nach dem Trocknen hinterlässt er ein glänzendes Oberflächen-Finisch, in etwa Vergleichbar mit einer Schicht Klarlack glänzend. Bei dieser speziellen Version reicht oft schon eine Schicht aus (statt zwei wie üblich). Bei Serviettentechnik würde ich aber trotzdem zwei Schichten empfehlen um sicher zu gehen. Die Oberfläche ist nach dem Trocknen HART und schützt den Untergrund zusätzlich und versiegelt ihn. Anders als bei Produkten der Konkurrenz wird Mod Podge auch nach 15 Jahren nicht "klebrig" so wie manch anderer Kleber für Serviettentechnik oder ähnliches, wo sich dann Weichmacher zersetzen oder Giftstoffe abgegeben werden und das ganze Kunstwerk ruiniert wird.Machbar ist mit Mod Podge sehr viel, in den USA wird er auch viel an Schulen im Kunstunterricht verwendet. Als kleine Inspiration:- Man kann damit Gegenstände in Serviettentechnik dekorieren (Papierservietten in Schichten zerlegen und mit Mod Podge aufkleben)- Papiermaché Figuren bemalen, bekleben und dann mit Mod Podge versiegeln- Langweilige Einbände von Fotoalben, Büchern, Schreibblöcken bemalen, bekleben und versiegeln- Zeichnungen versiegeln damit sie nicht verwischen und wasserabweisend werden- Kühlschrankmagnete, Pins, Haarspangen etc. selbst gestalten- Schuhe, Kleider, Handtaschen etc. aus Stoff, Leder, Textil verzieren (benötigt flexiblen Mod Podge!)- Möbeldekoration: Man kann von der kleinen Holzbox bis zum ganzen Bücherregal oder Kleiderschrank mit buntem Papier und Mod Podge alles nach dem eigenen Geschmack gestalten. Z.b. Auch den Schrank und das Bett im gleichen Design wie die Tapete an der Wand, egal ob Schlafzimmer oder Kinderzimmer. Kaputte Ecken lassen sich so prima kaschieren.- Bildertransfers von Laserdrucken oder Farbkopien auf Gegenstände übertragen (nur Laserdruck, Tintendruck verwischt)- Bekleben von unansehnlichen Pappschachteln, Kartons, Ordnern, Schulheften mit Serviettentechnik, Zeichnungen, Zeischriften etc.- Konservierung von empfindlichen Oberflächen (Fotos, Zeitungen, Zeichnungen)Die Möglichkeiten sind endlos, man braucht nur ein bisschen Fantasie und Experimentierfreude :-) Auch zum Basteln mit Kindern finde ich Mod Podge super, oder für einen regnerischen Familiennachmittag. Und als Geschenke und Mitbringsel sowieso, wer freut sich denn heutzutage in der schnellebigen digitalen Gesellschaft nicht über ein personalisiertes Geschenk in mühevoller Handarbeit hergestellt?

I HAVE BOUGHT THIS TIME AND AGAIN. I use it for making the diamond art I do WATER RESISTANT and it gives it a nice glossy shine and doesn't detract from the shine but adds to the shine on the dots especially the glitter ones and as it is a very thick solution you only need one coat. Once fully cured the diamond art can be wiped over with a damp cloth to remove dust. It is NOT A WATERPROOFING product

One of the crafts I do is Diamond Dots. This is the ideal sealer to apply to the finish canvas of Dots it ensures they are kept in place and gives a nice sheen to the finish work. I recommend purchasing the brush to apply the product.
