Godinger Dublin Salt and Pepper Shaker Set, Clear

I love the thickness and the feel of these salt and pepper shakers. I bought them because the other plain ones we have, the salt comes out way too fast and you end up with too much salt on your food. Both salt and pepper definitely come out much slower and in less quantities, but adequately comes out. The top is one plastic piece made to look like silver metal. Remember when you wash it, to make sure it is completely dry because if you don't, salt or pepper can get stuck in the little holes, and you don't want that. I didn't think I would, but I like the size of these - they're easy to pick up. My husband is older and commented once when we were at a restaurant that he wanted some like what they had - they were tall. These are very nice. The price is good too. Thank you Amazon.

Absolutely classy and beautiful

The set arrived safely but if had been dropped in transit would have broken due to a lack of insulation. They are beautiful but could not believe the tiny holes in the plastic tops were almost non existent. Not usable and made no sense. I am 79 years old but decided to heat the tip of an ice pick on my stove burner carefully inserting the tip to make each of the holes slightly bigger. I have no drill bit that small. It made of course tiny particles of melted areas. Let cool then clipped the rough edges with a toe nail clipper then sanded carefully😜 ridiculous but the tops are not usable otherwise.

Love these salt and peppers shakers

Very pretty set. I droped one star because the caps are made from plastic, and one cap needed to be modified for use with pepper. A 1/64 drill bit to enlarge the holes to allow more than just dust out. There is a liner inside the outer plastic chrome piece that is the actual piece that needs enlarged. So if you're careful, the chrome piece won't be damaged. They were on sale when I purchased them so for the price it's doable. Would've been much better with metal caps!

This salt and pepper set is just beautiful. I made the holes a little bigger and they are perfect. They are ideal for special occasions. I must say they look a lot more expensive than what they cost. You will not be disappointed.

These are lovely to look at but terrible to use. The tops consist of tiny holes all around the edges rather than the very top of the lids. Practically speaking, this means when you shake it a very small amount actually goes where you want it. Rather, salt or pepper is spreading pretty much everywhere and in a very fine, very difficult to detect pattern. This makes it difficult to actually season your food and impossible to keep the seasoning off of other foods on your plate. Wish that I had returned them but I waited to use them and thought it would be too late.

A tampa do saleiro é de palstico, os furos não são crandes o suficiente para o sal sair. Vou ter que arrumar um jeito de fazer os furos nele. O "cristal" parece mais vidro do que cristal.

The silver tops don't twist on straight and they lean to one side which makes it look a bit tacky in my opinion. The crystal is beautiful which I really appreciate plus they are larger than I thought they'd be which I like.

Looks fabulous on any table, unfortunately I’m renovating the kitchen dining room or would have sent photos will try and add later!
