I am in love with this knife! It looks great. Has a nice blade that really holds an edges and is sharp right out of the box. Civivi even put ceramic bearings on this so it opens and closes butter smooth! Don’t let the low price fool you: this is a quality product at a bargain price. As a true EDC, not a shoe knife, this is phenomenal!

VERY HANDY KNIFE. This knife looks great and works great. One of the many facets that I appreciate is how easy I can get it out of my pocket and into my hand fully open and ready to go in a blink of an eye. Its opening can be so quick and graceful. This is great when my other hand is busy and also great when in gnarly neighborhoods when safety equals quickness. I usually buy 'Buck' knives and I believe the steel/blade is definitely superior to Civivi however the Civivi is simply more convenient!

I keep reading about how this company, Civivi is making great knives at reasonable prices. Okay, I'll bite. Let me see this for myself... Initial impression: Well constructed, wood handles are nice, good deep pocket clip. Lighter than I expected, maybe due to the wood grips. Good detents - won't open without firm encouragement, flips open smoothly, crisp snap of the liner lock - no play or wiggle, everything's nice and straight. By all accounts this should already be a $250 knife for approx. $40... But here's what really surprised me - this was the sharpest factory edge of any knife I've owned. Literally razor sharp, will shave hair off with ease. Straight to the top of my (admittedly small) EDC collection. I would strongly recommend this knife and I will absolutely buy another, or probably a few more, from Civivi.

I got this for about $50. The blade is black and sharp. The wooden handle is a really nice touch. The knife comes out extremely fast with the flipper. One of my favorites in my collection! Civivi is a great brand.

It’s a little bit longer than I thought but it’s a nice knife

I have a large collection of different knives, so I wanted to add some civivi knives in because I have heard good things. I started with the BRAZEN tanto, and was very impressed. I just got the PRAXIS (wood handle) and it doesn't open or close very smooth. They feel like they are made by two different companies honestly. Maybe I just got a bad one, not sure. Hopefully that is the case because they have 5 or 6 other ones I wanted to add to the collection, I just started with a few plane (lower cost) ones to see the quality and feel before I got their more expensive Damascus blades. I'm a little hesitant now. Hopefully this is a one off problem that doesn't happen again. The BRAZEN I'd give 5+ stars. This PRAXIS I can only give 3 stars. I like the look and feel of it, it is sharp and has no burs or hot spots. The only issue is how it opens and closes.
