This alarm clock is perfect for our kiddo. Straightforward to use, and no unnecessary bells and whistles. The alarm sounds are good, and the silent alarm that only changes the kid from asleep to awake is exactly what we want for our kiddo. She exclaims, “My kid. Awake. Time to get up.”

After much research through parenting magazines and gadget reviews, my daughter decided the Kid"Sleep My First Alarm Clock was the best clock to teach her three-year-old about time, as well as to keep him in bed during the night. They are LOVING it! The first night he had it, he stayed in bed all night! He now knows when he wakes up if it's time to get up or if he needs to stay in bed! Great product! Got a pink one for my five-year-old granddaughter, too! She will learn to tell time digitally and by analog!

I promise I am not a moron, but I can't figure out how to set the time on the sleep/wake feature. The directions were obviously translated from another language and they're not very clear. Any help would be great!

This clock is a wonderful product. Our son just turned four and was getting out of bed early every day. He is able to understand the pictures on this clock and lives setting it every night. I like that it combines pictures and a clock as he grows and learns to tell time. So glad we bought it!!!!

We had the classic sleep clock when our oldest (now 4.5 was 2)...LOVED that product! Now both are boys 2.5 & 4.5 are in the same room - I THOUGHT this clock would be the perfect solution. I was a little confused about the snooze part but now that I see the actual clock I get it. This whole clock is SOOO tiny- I didn't even open all the packaging! Nothing covers the switches on the back so if our boys can reach it- they WILL play with the dials. The day/night part is MAYBE 2-3 times bigger than a watch face......not even wasting my time with this product for Fifty dollars!! Glad we have amazon prime and this puppy will be returned TOMORROW!

I would give this 5 stars if there was a way to set the alarm for AM or PM. My daughter is 5 years old and sleeps longer than 12 hours so the alarm function does not work for us. It has helped in teaching her to tell time.

My 6 year old son loves this clock! We've had it for a month now and it works well. This has helped him stay in bed until 7 am (instead of 6). We put the alarm on silent mode so that on the rare occasions he sleeps a little longer he won't be woken up.

Can't say how much we love this clock. We've been using this for the last year or so for our now 3-year-old. He can't tell time yet, but he can tell that it's not time to get up because the little boy isn't awake! We have him totally programmed to not get up until the little boy comes on. Every morning, he waits until the light comes on and says "Mommy, Papa, the little boy's awake!" Love it. In fact, he's right beside me now. Direct quotes: "That's my little boy clock!" "When the little boy's awake, that means it's time to wake up. When the little boy's asleep, that means it's time to go to sleep." Expensive, but awesome!

This has been great! So far our 3yr old only uses the images to see if it is time to get up, but soon he will start to learn to tell time too. The glow has been reassuring to him too - not too bright, but bright enough to see and be a little night light. More obvious than counting stars...and more practical as a teaching device.

Super réveil pratique pour les enfants

Wir haben uns den Wecker zugelegt, weil unser Junior immer sehr früh wach ist (5:45 Uhr). Da er die Uhr noch nicht lesen kann, haben wir uns für den Wecker mit Nacht/Taganzeige entschieden. Der Wecker kam schnell und wie immer gut verpackt bei uns an. Mit unseren wiederaufladbaren Batterien hat der Wecker leider nicht funktioniert, daher hängt er jetzt am Strom - und funktioniert einwandfrei. Einstellen geht sehr enfach, allerdings - finde ich- sollte man die Einstelltasten sperren können, da kleine Kinder gern drauf rumdrücken und somit die (digitale) Uhr verstellen. Und das Beste ist, dass der Junior nun tatsächlich bis 6:15 (die Zeit haben wir als "Tagzeit" eingestellt) liegen bleibt. Als positiver nebeneffekt fängt unser Sohn nun auch an die Uhr zu lernen. Also für uns ein super Wecker, wir können ihn empfehlen.
