Trident Layers Strawberry & Citrus Sugar Free Gum, 12 Packs of 14 Pieces

I’m outright distraught the amazing product was discontinued! 😭

I'd actually give this 4 1/2 stars... I have to be in the mood for something quite sweet with a touch of tang but when I am, This Hits The Spot. It's a bit sweeter than, say, the bubblegum but I happen to be a person who loves sweet, yet I don't think it's Overly Sweet and the hint of the tangy flavor is a good balance. This particular flavor has a softer consistency than, say, the bubblegum (that's my Fave Flave!), so sometimes I take a couple of sips of ice water and that kind of firms it up for a little while. It's not great for bubble blowing but I do like this one a lot and I'd definitely get it again! UPDATE~ NOW IT'S 5+ STARS... A few days after I wrote this I became Krazy about this Flavor and This Is Now MY FAVE FLAVE, plus I like the slightly softer consistency better. The flavor is fairly true to taste as compared to the real thing and Using A Stop Watch, I clocked The Flavor Lasting Up To 90 Minutes (at which time I was tired of chewing so I spit it out!). How long do most people usually chew gum?

Best gum out their for flavor and it dosnt get hard to chew

I bought these for my wife. They’re her absolute favorite and we haven’t been able to find them in a long time in stores. They seemed pretty fresh despite the fact that i’m unsure of how long they might’ve sat around in a warehouse. Great price for so many packs as well!

This is a review of Trident Layers Strawberry + Citrus Sugar Free Gum. I love chewing gum but don't love all the sugar on my teeth and in my system. I have always enjoyed Trident so I decided to try this flavor combo. It's good. It isn't exactly like strawberry and citrus. It does have a sort of citrusy taste. Mostly it is sweet and flavorful despite me not being able to describe exactly how it tastes. The packaging is good with a box and individually wrapped gum pieces inside. Very portable. The gum's flavor doesn't last quite as long I had hoped but it definitely is better than some others I have tried. In all, I like this gum but I took a star off because the texture is soft and, after a while, the gum sort of falls apart in my mouth if I chew too long. But that really is a pretty minor issue.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've tried numerous different gums and this is the best by far. Flavor is great and it last a while.

Great but the price is too much

Great gum!

this gum might be discontinued we looked in many stores and saw other kinds but none like this one , so i ordered a box of them for my mother it's her preferred kind of all of them . thank you to amazon she will be chewing for a while :)

Very tasty and well worth the chew ... :))))

J'aime ces gommes. Elles m'aident à saliver davantage, car les médicaments me rendent la bouche sèche.

This is the genuine article - just like the gum we were able to purchase long before the corporate bean counters killed the retail offering. My wife loves it!

Trident Wild Strawberry.. is insanely expensive! It’s my favourite gum! Too bad I can’t justify the cost. For many years my local Wal-M sold a multi-pack of 3 packs with 14 sticks in each package for a reasonable $4. For the last year they’ve been OOS but the huge inventory of many other flavours and brands. I’m very disappointed with Amazon for the price gouging for a perennial favourite. Poor me…
