This is some of the best heat shrink tubing I've used. It's thick, has lots of glue in it, easy to shrink, and the 4:1 shrink factor is great and a real upgrade over the 3:1 you commonly see. The biggest advantages of 4:1 are that you're able to slide it over larger things attached to the cable (such as terminals, etc) that 3:1 may not shrink enough on, and also that 4:1 allows you to use it over a larger range of sizes of materials. That way you don't have to stock as many sizes of tubing.I've got a ton of the kits that have an assortment of sizes in it that are precut. I seem to always go through the larger sizes first and end up with a bunch of the little ones left over that I never seem to use. The precut pieces are also too short sometimes. So, in summary, this is great quality tubing that is usable across a wide range of sizes, and you can cut it to the exact length you need.

Shrinks up really well- I used it to hold two battery cables together for the RV. The glue does a great job of expanding to create a watertight seal between two cables.

I built a DIY 12 channel TRS snake for my studio and the Wirefy heat shrink was a vital part of the success of the project. This product is exactly as advertised and works as good or better than anything I have used prior. This shrink wrap has a very solid water tight look to it and appears as if it will stand the test of time. The 4:1 ratio of shrinkage is an awesome feature as this saved me from buying different sizes of the product. One size met my needs beautifully. I really like how the heat creates a nice little clear plastic seal on each end of the wire. This should provide an extra degree of insulation and stability to my connections on both ends of the snake. I build allot of electronic projects and I make many homemade audio cables for my guitar rig and studio. This will now be my goto choice for shrink wrap in the future.
