Value for money
Changed from a tool case to a tool bag found it easier to carry, loads more space with 88 pockets for my tools and storage space for the bigger tools. Quality good and value for money with plenty of zip pockets .

I don't write a lot of reviews, but when I buy something that really impresses me I have no problem telling others about it. With 30 years in the IT business I finally broke down and bought myself a brand new laptop. In doing so my old Dell laptop case just wasn't going to cut it anymore. It held in well for a lot of years, but being an IT business owner/tech I carry around a lot of tools and the old bag was falling apart. I found the Welkinland 88 pouch laptop/tool bag in a search for a new rugged bag that would hold up well with all I carry and I've got to say I wish I had been looking for new laptop bags earlier. This thing is AWESOME! Not only does it provide a well-padded pouch for my new laptop in the center, but the storage in this thing is insane! There are zip-up and Velcro pouches ALL OVER this thing, on EVERY side. All 4 sides of this thing have external zip-up pouches on the exterior that hold more stuff than my previous bag did all on their own. But the big prize in this bag are the full zip-down sides of the center/laptop storage section side of this thing that open up to reveal an entire tool palette on either side and provide tons of storage for every IT guy tool I carry plus some. I have screwdrivers, pliers, precision tools, USB thumb drives, cutting tools, wrenches, USB docking bays, a couple hard drives, etc., etc. in this bag. If I was to guess I have somewhere around 50-60 pounds of stuff in this thing. The bag itself isn't light weight either. This bag is REALLY well made out of a heavy-duty nylon fabric that feels like something military-grade. The zippers are all heavy duty as well. NOTHING about this bag feels cheap at all. I I absolutely HAD to complain about anything with this bag it would be the breakaway carrying handle on the top. When it's pulled together it forms a very comfortable round rubbery plastic handle, but it comes apart easily, which can make it awkward to pick up with a heavy load of tools inside. I feel like it should interlock lock together somehow with snaps or something and latch together versus just a press-fit design. This is just a nitpicky thing for me and doesn't merit any downgrade in my review of this product. I'm not often impressed by the products I buy these days... especially in this economy, but this thing is GREAT! Highly recommended.

A very well made case with lots of tool compartments and unique slots. It can definitely hold a sufficient amount of common tools and items, though there is no indication whatsoever as to what some slots are exactly used for! However one can probably be imaginative enough to figure out how to use them to accommodate their tools and various accessories. For my personal use, it fits my most frequently used electronics such as a multimeter and other diagnostic devices. An array of various sizes of screwdrivers, pliers, soldering iron and many other accessories. I particularly like how the flaps on either side, where the hand tools are housed, unzip wide open thus giving you a complete view and access. In addition, though it can accommodate a15inch notebook, I would think it might be very tight. However, for my use, It perfectly fits a 12 inch tablet with ample space which makes it easy to access frequently! I’m confident that it is well built and robust enough for the purpose intended. I would personally not subject it through extreme conditions such as heavy construction use. It simply was not meant for such a purpose. It’s a technician’s bag! Over all I’m extremely pleased with this product. It definitely serves its purpose!

This is a nice bag for a contractor. It fits my 16" macbook pro with a large rubber edged case in it just fine as well as my metal document holder clipboard. Plus it has room for plenty of small hand tools. I wish it had more room in the center/computer compartment for a few more paperwork related items but it does work well for my needs (as the owner of a residential construction company) as my kind of portable office supplies holder. It also seems to be made of durable materials and has a unique handle design with the handle from one side sliding into the other. I do think the handle design could be improved if they actually clipped together when slid over each other as you have to hold them together adding a small degree of discomfort with a decent amount of weight in the bag since they twist and pull apart requiring you to squeeze the the handles together. Fortunately I don't carry this for long distances or anything so it's not a big deal for me.
