Awesome system.
This was my first experience with night vision scopes. This is a little different because it is more of a system than a scope. It attaches to your existing mounted scope. It arrived quickly from Amazon and was extremely well packaged. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of quality materials based on the low price. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of all parts of this system. I mounted it on my scope in about 10 minutes but that time would be halved if I mounted again. I tried to test it but could not get it to work properly. It was my fault. I didn’t realize there were three separate switches that have to be on for it to work properly. One on the illumination light, one on the screen, and one on the camera cylinder. In my defense the instructions are pretty much useless. But it is generally simple enough that it can be figured out. If I would make one suggestion I would recommend comprehensive instructions. I nearly packed mine up and sent it back until I made one last attempt and found a YouTube video review showing the third switch. Glad I didn’t. This thing works great for the price. It’s as accurate as your scope is. I could identify a rabbit at 75 yards in total darkness and a coyote at over 100 yards. I believe I should be able to use it on coyotes out to at least 150 yards. I would recommend this system.

BEST BARGAIN “Night vision” scope on Amazon in my opinion
I don’t understand how people are leaving negative reviews on this product. I set it up on a .22 and use it for shooting rats at night. It works FLAWLESSLY!! I’ve been using it for almost 4 years now and have yet to have any issues or failures. I even left it out in the rain by mistake one night, and STILL it works perfectly!! For the price…. You honestly cannot expect anything more. I’d buy it again without thinking twice. It’s never lost its zero, and it’s Never NOT worked for me. I’d absolutely recommend it Now Granted, I’ve never mounted it on anything with any significant recoil, but for plinking Critters at night with a .22 it’s one of my favorite toys by far!!! The Screen image quality is MUCH BETTER then the video I uploaded below, I was using my phone to record the screen while trying to steady the rifle, aim at the rat and try NOT to jerk the trigger all at the same time So I apologize for the quality of the video but you can see that it works great

Not a bad concept, just poorly executed.
Not a bad concept, just poorly executed. I had low expectations for this product based solely on its price and the capability it's supposed to provide. However, it failed to live up to even those expectations. First sign of an issue was the product documentation, which was severely deficient and lacking in the simplest details, or even adequate diagrams. Secondly, the product is more prototype than finished product. Its components are not of very good quality, in particular, the viewing screen is very cheap and not robust at all. The connections are in no way ruggedized for use as designed. Merely usb connections without any locking mechanism to prevent loss of connection. The method of connecting the camera to the scope eyepiece is flimsy, and requires use of self-adhesive tape like you would use for covering the site of a shot, or like if you had a scrape and bandaged it. Not electronics grade at all. This should have been electrical grade rubber tape at least. The camera piece also is not really secure even when fully tight, it allows for movement and shifting of the view through the scope objective lens. The camera piece also lacks the ability to telescope or adjust the camera distance from the eyepiece for best view. Finally, once the product was attached and freshly charged batteries were installed, it failed to function properly. Initially, it came on and worked for a couple of minutes. Enough time to walk out the door into the night, switch to night mode, and turn on the IR light, before switching itself off and on in a never ending, unresponsive boot loop. On a positive note, the IR light is super bright and very easily focused. I understand that this is supposed to be budget night vision, but after you figure the cost of a decent scope and add the cost of this product, you might as well buy any other dedicated day/night scope out there. They can be had for between $400 and $500, and with far more capability. Amazon was very good about the return of this product the next morning and processing my refund.

It works well as a night scope. I was/am surprised.
It states that it does not include batteries yet it seems some people are upset. This unit works well as a night scope alternative. The camera mount uses set screws so it may be best to put some electric tape on the scope so your scope does not get scratched. This camera does not record video, sound or photos as some do. When this camera and infrared light are mounted it makes the gun a bit heavier and not easy to handle. I use a gun cradle to eliminate that issue. What I particularly like about this camera is that I only have to focus on the screen and not the process of looking through the scope, aligning my eye to reduce parallax while acquiring the target. As I age I get less stable using a scope and this tool helps me a lot. Only 4-stars because it lacks recording capabilities. While many of these types of night vision cameras are available they are not all the same. Read the details carefully to make sure it works on your scope. I found that this mounting system was not stable using it on a lighted reticle scope because the that scope had an adjustment where the camera mounts and was in the way.

Check your item as soon as you receive, incase you have to return it
So my fault for not checking until this year when I actually unboxed this product but the flashlight won’t turn on. The optics could be better. But they do the trick

Great budget night vision
I love this product. I bought it awhile ago and was kind of skeptical because I was one of the people that are reading my review right now. I didn’t have this product and was curious about it. I ordered the whole set up and after anticipating it being delivered it finally happened 😁 it came in the mail and I was hyped dude. I set it up on my scope and it works great. The night vision for the price is impressive. It caps at about 200 yards. Thing with that is.. you are limited by your infrared light. If you bought another one that’s stronger you’d be good to go way farther out. So basically you’re limited to your scope and IR light. I’ve seen comments of people saying they put this on their high caliber rifle and after shooting once it stopped working. Please do not write a bad review and give lip about it not being able to handle the recoil of a high caliber rifle. That’s stupid. This is not made to handle that much recoil and shock. I’d use this on a smaller caliber like 22lr or even a pellet rifle to shoot rodents. All in all.. the product is great, I’d buy it again. The company is super nice and professional. Hit them up if you have any problems. Great customer service. Buy it.. you need it. It’s amazibg

Loving it
First off mind blown kaboom. This little night vision camera has got to be one of the best night vision cameras I have ever been privileged to use. Me and my friend go rat hunting at local ranches at night for fun. The nights are very eventful and the Ranchers absolutely love the idea of free Pest Control LOL. He has a nice high-dollar night vision scope. I used to use a red light at night for hunting till I bought this system. And man am I glad I did the picture on The View screen is very sharp and crisp the picture of the Rat does not do this camera Justice it is much more detailed and sharp. fits nicely around my scope and on my rifle. Before too long I noticed my partner was using my scope and rifle more than his own. Very impressed with this setup. I wish I had found this system a long time ago. Very well worth the money. Two downfalls sadly though the very small on and off switch on the battery pack can sometimes be a pain to find in the dark. And the battery system. Very very very much wish they made it run off of Duracell double A instead of the 9900 mAh 3.7 V Li- i o n battery. If you don't have it... it will not work. Trust me as a man I had the mentality it would work without them because I said it would. It doesn't I had to order them. They last a while but not long enough when you keep the screen on long-term. But if you're using it to hunt rats like we are easy solution get a handful of leaves and put them where they frequent most AKA under the feeders and as soon as you hear the leaves rustling turn the set up on.By using it this way I can get two full nights of hunting before I have to recharge the batteries.

Has potential but could be a lot better. see Update
I was originally pretty impressed that you could buy a night vision attachment for under $100, but after getting it, I am a lot less impressed. Actually, this is really just a battery operated camera, similar to a backup camera on for an RV or car, with a narrow FOV. Both have night vision. It does more or less work as described, but it is not high quality but could be improved easily. Pros: - Picture is sufficient to get the job done, but a bit grainy especially at night. I have not tried it out at the range, but if you have a good scope, I don’t think there is much to go wrong unless the electronics fail. - Easy to install, although, there are issues. See cons…. - Night vision is OK for shorter distances but you need the IR light if it is very dark out. Not sure it is going to be that good (as is) past 100-150 yards. Maybe in an open field. A better IR light might help though. - You can use it on your existing scope. The optics should be as good as your scope. The mechanism should not ever cause a bad shot as long as it is on and working. The optics and cross hairs are a function of your existing scope. - Overall, it is relatively light, but a bit bulky - Inexpensive night vision option that doesn’t require QD scope mounts. - Battery life is excellent. A test run using Panasonic NCR18650B batteries, the screen was still on after 6 hrs of run time. The IR flashlight didn’t fare as well, but I wouldn’t expect to have it on 100% of the time anyway. Maybe half that of the screen. - I like that you can fold the screen back and scan the horizon from your hip. In other words, you don’t have to scan with the rifle in a ready position like a typical night vision scope. Cons: - The camera mount (eye piece) could be much better. It “will” scratch your scope. AND…I think it is highly likely that the screws could work themselves loose and you could lose them in the field very easily. There is another version of this product with a different camera mount, but I did not see it until after I purchased this one, and the ratings were lower anyway. I addressed this by cutting a strip of aluminum and taping it around the scope eye piece. You can use a soda can for this. - The screen mount is silly. Instead of making it a typical Picatinny mount which most people have plenty of, it has a short P-rail on it used with a typical scope ring. Completely backwards. I see why they did it that way, but it should have both options. A scope ring with a P-rail would have been better. In other words, it would have been better if it mounted to a P-rail. See next comment... - The IR flashlight also has a silly and bulky mount though it is easy to use. It would be better with a typical Picatinny mount. However, I was able to adapt the provided 1” scope ring on the flashlight to address this problem. You can’t adjust the direction of the flashlight, but it appears to be pointed almost in the right direction. - I seriously doubt this has any water or dust rating at all. There are vents on the top of the screen. I don’t believe it could get wet and survive, however, you could easily cover it with a baggy(s) if needed. Not ideal, but could save your screen/camera. - The screen and battery case are constructed of plastic. Looks cheap, but it does make it lightweight. - The zoom on the IR flashlight slides too easily. Would have preferred a twist zoom. And it uses batteries quickly . - The screen mount swings forward and backward but not side to side. Not a huge problem, but it could be more ergonomic. - The screen is WAY too bright for night hunting even on the lowest brightness setting. It lights you up like a Christmas tree not to mention killing your natural night vision. However, I was able to pretty much fix this problem by placing a red film over the screen. Not perfect, but pretty darn good. See Picture. - Needs an external power supply jack but again, with good batteries, it does last quite a while. - Display controls are pretty useless. Not a whole lot of difference between low and max brightness and contrast settings. Saturation is about the same as well, although, I don't really see a use for day vision (color) using the device since it does not record. - Would be nice if the camera also took pictures and video, but for the price, OK I guess. I do think it could function as intended as an entry level night vision scope assuming it can withstand the recoil. I am planning on trying it out. I’ll update later if I have issues. Bottom line: I think the product has potential, but needs some improvement, most of which would be easy to do. NOTE: I didn't have any issues with the batteries but I have very good 18650 batteries. Most of the ones listed now days are fantasy. There is NO WAY an 18650 battery can have 9900 mAh capacity. Do your own research. Even a lot of "claimed" high capacity 18650 batteries are very low capacity. Read the reviews. Oh yeah...I was able to use both flat top and button top batteries in the devices. UPDATE: Carrying around all the pieces tend to be cumbersome. I put them in a soft bag inside my rifle case and the screen got broken before my second use. Very disappointed.
